For the duration of the Milburngate Bridge work, the 22/24 are interworking.

Oh yes, I'd forgotten about that.

1308 has just been towed into Faverdale by Ian Bradley.

1458 also ended up on X12 replacing (I believe - keeping track of the workings is tough) 1442.

Wrong - it worked the evening trip to Chester-le-Street that is on a separate board. It's the same one that does the 0814 17 from Bassleton Court. As of next week this trip will be included on an all day working.

Arriving into Middlesbrough at 1850 - funny Chester-le-Street turn.......................................

Well it was programmed to do that run anyway... I hazard a guess they ended up with 4654

Presumably what went out to replace 4654 this morning - 4654 did the usual Scania tactic of door issues.

Also, due to the new (for a week only mind) allocation, 4506's appearance on 28s (as a changeover - the original vehicle broke down in Trimdon on its 21a) as well as the 1845 17 to Ingleby Barwick is now odd as is the appearance of a Cadet or 2 on there (officially, 28/29 are now Pulsars with all but 1 27 board being Cadet).

1906 ended up on 7s this afternoon - no prices for which Solo it replaced, 2829.....................

Do we know if it was an enthusiast driver who had 1903 through Trimdon at circa 1730 towards Stockton? He seemed to recognise me and waved, but I didn't recognise him (and was incredibly ignorant as such!)

Never saw it all day so can't comment - a lot of the Stockton drivers are quite friendly like

Oh, two Redcar ones I nearly forgot about..............

1563 and 7485 on 22/64/64a

I hear tyresmoke's looks are quite deceiving and he bites every now and again if you get too close...

In all seriousness, I do agree. Always nice to go to Darlington and Stockton/Middlesbrough as you're bound to get a few drivers waving. Didn't have my camera on this occasion though, so the driver either recognised me from previous photos I've taken, or got me completely mixed up for someone else..!

Right now - no comment on the first point..................................

Given the amount of time I spend 'locally' as it were - I'm well known by a lot of the Arriva drivers, either by sight or actually to talk to (usually being a point of call for any of the latest information) so I'm used to getting a wave or a thumb-up from them. Somewhat related but slightly-off-topic, same applies to the Stagecoach Stockton drivers, I know plenty of them and likewise get the thumbs up, a wave or occasionally the bus driver's favorite - the finger gun to the head when things aren't going right.

Hahahaha so Ian Bradley has been busy today then first he towed 1426 to faverdale from Darlington
Then he went out to pick up another pulsar that had broken down somewhere between chilton and ferryhill
And the he went out to get 1308

Meanwhile 1461 was on the 12s so why didn't that get swapped on to the 1/5/19 diagram
