Stagecoach are withdrawing from ICE loyalty points scheme 27th July 2015.
Hopefully, but doubt it, will team up with Tesco Clubcard!

Looks ghastly.

Don't get me wrong, it certainly stands out and I guess it's achieving its purpose for that reason, but I'd suggest throwing those vinyls on a bus like that is far worse than anything other operators in the region have done by putting contravision on windows...

Perhaps others will suggest otherwise, though, given that passengers can see the glorious views Newcastle offers out of all windows.

I blame GNE for axing the X3, even though I never used it... Wink

In all seriousness though. Yeah it's god awful, but it certainly does stand out. It just looks like a massive green bench out of the commons.

Having a bit of a debate with the emmmmm plonker sitting over the table from me at the moment about what services Sunderland Gas uses have been used on.

He says they have only ever been used on the 3/4/13/16/20 and X1.

I say they have also been used on the 5 and 23 and are on a weekly basis. Now I can blow him out of the window with a picture of one on the 23 but dose anyone have any pictures of one on the 5????

I was going to say I've never seen a gas bus in Dene Estate! But that explains it. Our first bus is at 10am, disappointing if I want an early gym session!

It would be great if a Gas Bus is occasionally used on the "E" services, as the use of 1 or 2 Sunderland vehicles on the "E" services is becoming more and more common.

I assume its related to delays caused by the roadwork's which are effecting the majority of the routes in Newcastle. Sean Blair states that a "third" vehicle will be joining 16833 and 16839 in the coming days, and they are being used to cover late running buses on the 22/X63/62/63.

Due to low availability of the Enviro 400s these two have been brought in to help make run out on a morning. Get taken off as soon as spares become available from engineering. Seems they were being used to cover mileage today on various services!
