Fans were chanting "You're getting sacked in the morning" but it was unclear to whom they were referring.

I will refrain from saying that they were wrong because the status of John Carver is still up in the air...

Feel really sorry for Bruce and Hull.
Didn't deserve to go down at all, but I'm glad it's not us.

Meh.

I do have some sympathy for Carver. He was offered his dream job and like anyone else in his position he took it. But the results leave a lot to be desired, and although he acheived the result against he needed West Ham, one draw and one win in twelve games just doesn't cut the mustard with me. If it wasn't for the fact Carver was place-filler until someone better came along close season, he'd probably be out the door by now (and probably will be before the start of next season).

I hope they have the resources to be able to keep Gateshead going at there current level, fully professional on gates of just over 1,000 will mean quite a bit of money has thrown at it...

Going by that statement on the Website, the new owners seem to be in it for the right reasons and it is all the better that they already have ties to the club...

Here is hoping for a good season from them

That's good, because it would probably destroy Gateshead if they went back to being Semi-Pro...

Glad the new owners ar me locals and fans, I hope they don't become the right people for the wrong reasons, that they not letting there heart rule there head...

At least it is not some Egomaniac wanting to asset strip(Do Gateshead actually have much in the way of assets? As they don't own the Ground iirc)...

Despite my opinion on how the club has been run in the past, I am genuinely happy for Gateshead and hope they get to the promised land soon enough Big Grin

FIFA Executives arrested for corruption...Sepp Blatter is not one of those in the hands of the Polis, they are facing extradition to the United States

FIFA Officials Arrested On Corruption Charges

I personally think the whole organisation is as bent as a 9-bob note...

They lot of them should now stand down from FIFA, dissolve it completely because of all the corruption and start again
