If your travelling on the Coaster or Coastliner/Cobalt Clipper there, it's the first stop on the Links after Whitley Bay Town Centre.

Most of you's don't know the true meaning of 'long journey' and to make matters worse it looks like I will be heading to Bishop Auckland first which is completely the wrong direction!

I quite like them although what does annoy me about them is they only have 3 seats at the rear and most importantly, the 2 seats furthest to the right are the ones blocked off. It would be fine if it was on the other side!

Well, let's just say I couldn't fit in at all. It wasn't a case of it being uncomfortable to fit in (as with the OmniCitys) - couldn't fit in whatsoever...

(29 Jun 2015, 2:50 pm)Tom wrote Far easier to get the bus though, e.g
309 - 42 minutes approx.
Metro - 24 minutes to Haymarket + 15 minutes walk approx = 39 minutes.
So not much different, and the bus saves you walking.

X1 Wrekenton - Newcastle then 308/ 309 to Whitley Bay
Or
1 Wrekenton straight through to Whitley Bay
