Up until that photo was uploaded, it was never said on this forum by anybody that 619 was definitely going to Hexham. It was predicted that it would though by a couple of people.

MPD 619 is to join 618 at Hexham Depot.

Taking a guess at the rest...

564,565, 573, 574 to Deptford to replace 542,544, 547,548.

560 to Riverside?

Was 543 ever replaced? 560 could go there (if it was required).

Send it to Washington Depot to as a Spare to further prevent a B7TL being allocated to the 82/82A/85 & 86.

send 560 to Hexham, allowing 8273 to return to Deptford.

or

send 560 to Washington, allowing 570 to Crook as an OK way spare.

Not much call for a spare MPD for The OK Way I feel, I think it's easier to have Presidents spare at Crook so they can do both the 18 and X21, it's better having a President on the 18 than a MPD on the X21.

But if having an OK Way spare will reduce the chances of 6038 being taken up on the 18 and instead being a spare for the X21 rather than an MPD.

I predict it will be the former, as Hexham needs more minibuses but fewer full size buses.

564/565 & 573/574 will need a repaint into red fleet livery - I can see them doing the repaints straight away.

No need for it at Crook... send to Chester then could come to Crook if 571 or 572 have probs. In meantime it could be spare for 34s etc

665 is already out on the 204.

Now that I've seen the branding for myself, I still find it has no appeal to me. Probably one of my least favourite examples in all the years of GNE branding.

The base colour is nice though.

Are all of them out today, or just a few?

656 has just entered Durham Bus Station as a 208.

Just wish I knew what it is going out as. Fingers crossed for 265! Dammit 547 on the 265

IndiGo is a pretty poor livery, but See it Do it Sunderland is an absolutely rubbish brand name; also not an attractive livery as the circles with the infantile scribbled images don't match the gold colour.

Seen the Indigo brand in person i quite like it.

See it, do it Sunderland is a promotion brand for Sunderland which the council use to promote Sunderland... would of said GNE got the design from them?

Your worse than me for moaning... its not end of the world

Passengers who are getting on the 265 are praising the new buses.

I also passed the 204 earlier on my way home from work. The brand looked a bit 'meh' to me too.

Solos are ok for the bus services their do, but i think that the 202/265/204/208 needs bigger buses than solos, but the branding is terrible, I still say that it should of been a better base colour but refresh the branding a bit to East Durham Links (linking the East Durham Communities).

(10 Aug 2015, 11:31 am)Greg in Weardale wrote Nowt wrong with the actual vehicles. Solos are idea for the east Durham routes.

The 202 was standing room only by murton, though.

Have abandoned our plans to wait for the 265 and make our way to the galleries. Already wet and according to netweather there's a lot more heavy rain about and big'un has a strong sensory aversion to rain. He's opted to visit the Metrocentre instead to make the most of our explorer.
