Quick question folks, how is the 20:15 X34 from Newcastle worked with no buses running towards Newcastle at that time?

Haven't the X34s always ran light from Horsley Hill to Newcastle to do evening runs?

Has 19683 had any Modifications, had it on the X63 this evening back into Newcastle from work and it sounded like an Enviro 200 which I thought was quite weird.

34401 has had a 21 day dock but was then returned back to its dry storage spot in the middle depot. It's is not currently taxed and has no ticket machine equipment fitted (not just the ticket machine but all the wiring that goes with it). If it is going to enter service I'm sure it will be reported here.

That's my point, it's not going to be ready for service anytime soon. Just because it is parked at South Shields does not mean it will be used. All it means is it is parked at South Shields.....

Excuse my ignorance, but is there a timetable available for the 959? I can't seem to find one on the Stockton part of the Stagecoach website.

It's only a temporary (and apparently free) service.

Ah right, I thought it was a worker's service or something. Cheers!

It is rather odd number wise - the 9xx have always been supported worker services on Teesside. The Daylight Bakery has been closed for many years and is now flats.

Yes of course it's free as its unregistered - short notice shuttle bus to cover some stops unserved due to roadworks (well, rail works)

Quite a few confused looking passengers at harton nook in South Shields. Diversions in place on Sunderland road with services 3,4,30,x34 & gne services 20/20a all entering area from King George road roundabout before a quick circle on prince Edward road back out. Buses are diverting around sunderland road via King George road atm.

Kind regards

Been looking at the bygone era and was surprised to see thatTyne and Wear PTE ran services in South Shields on Christmas Day back in the 1970s with a timetable very similar to the current Sunday service.

Its hard enough trying to get something introduced for New Years Day now imagine if Stagecoach give us Christmas Day services now

Not sure we will ever see a Christmas day service again up here, everywhere is closed so its pointless.
