I thought it was kindly suggested that all destination reports were put into the DDA/PSVAR thread rather than clogging up the operator threads?

(08 Jan 2016, 8:33 pm)Michael Have to say the scania's suit the black very well.

(08 Jan 2016, 8:42 pm)DanPicken I think buses look better in their base livery.

I like the Black base livery, it does look good. I thought that the Toonlink Omnicitys looked rather good in Plain Black before the branding was applied.

(09 Jan 2016, 4:03 pm)Dan 563 was on the 93S, hence 4979's allocation to the CB1.

By 1615, 542 was on 93S, complete with an LED rear blind.

4949 still has rear blind not working.

8317 now an all orange front blind.

5160 is now parked in vor row at Riverside.

Assorted versas will be used on service 27, on Sunday, due to diversion under Black Lane bridge.

It was VOR for PSV so presumably to ensure it passed, it had to have a working rear destination.

It was a profiling issue so really could have retained its rear flipdot screen. There certainly won't be a profile set up to allow flipdot front/side and LED rear, so I'll need to find out what's going on there!

4949's rear was switched off as the soldier vinyl covered the destination and it was illegible anyway. Obviously should have been turned back on with adjustments made to vinyl by now, to comply with DDA / PSVAR regulations!

Why would they need to change it from Citaro to Versa the bridge is hugh enough for Citaros to go under.

Better to be safe than sorry?

Scania L94s aren't permitted to use the Centrelink, as these are slightly taller than a normal single-deck vehicle and they would potentially have a bash with the bridge if they did use it!

No - the roof pods on the top are the difference:

Scanias with air con pods do fit under the QE bridge on Centrelink, despite the signs saying that they don't.
Black Lane bridge has been altered with a lower clearance.  Officially there should be 2 inches to spare, but gne are not taking any chances.

They don't go under the low bridge. They turn off just before it (the way that the X66 uses to get back onto the Centrelink heading to Metrocentre).

I wouldn't fancy risking it, if all the signs tell me not to go under that bridge in a Scania L94!
