(14 Mar 2016, 7:05 pm)Michael Do you reckon they'll ever do demo buses with WIFI etc built in?, it would be a good idea.

I suppose all the bus operator wants to know is how well the bus performs on a service, or at least that style of route. Will put the operator in a difficult position when they have to trial a demonstration vehicle on a bus with Wi-Fi and power sockets, etc.

(14 Mar 2016, 7:10 pm)S813 FVK NK16 BXL arrived today: https://www.flickr.com/photos/gpr_bus_ph...otostream/

(14 Mar 2016, 6:53 pm)Dan Optare have supplied Go North East with one of its Metrocity demonstration models to evaluate it against the forthcoming Wright Streetlite Micro-Hybrid vehicle type on "Prince Bishops" services 20/20A. It will be used at Go North East for a period of up to one month, and has been allocated fleet number 9102.

It looks very compact but still spacious, I've noticed the extra row or two of seats on the right may have reduced the maximum Wheelchair/Pushchair capacity ot 1?
Also does this have a Cummins or Mercedes/Daimler engine? EDIT just looked at the photo and it tells me the engine type in the description.

(14 Mar 2016, 4:39 pm)S813 FVK Indeed. Completely different but Heathrow Express have recently had to withdraw all 332s from service temporarily for checks because some have been found to have structural issues.

Completely different, but Hotpoint, Indesit & Creda are recalling Tumble Dryers due to them catching fire.

Perhaps the East Lancs Lolynes should be checked over, as anything could of caused those fires, could even be linked.
