They should be withdrawing 542 not 548, as its the only one which is Yellow!

542 is due to be withdrawn later this month, when the npower Park & Ride contract is withdrawn.

I suppose 542 may be in marginally better condition, which is why this bus was selected to be retained for an extra week or two over 548.

I keep forgetting about that bloody npower Park & Ride contract.

Hopefully the MPD's are sold to a local company.

Deptford's boards on service 9 - the ones which terminate short at Jarrow from Sunderland, as opposed to continuing to North Shields. The X22 service from the Metrocentre to Durham which operates via Team Valley (around 1600 x Metrocentre) is also scheduled to be allocated a Vyking (3983). The only others are various Misc Works, from the Team Valley. I think I posted details of these allocations previously - someone may be kind enough to dig out this post! Smile

When the 9 changes on the 22nd May, with only the times changing, will the allocations change at Deptford?

The ones at Percy Main should change anyway, if the duel door B10's get withdrawn.

9104 is to be returned to Optare tomorrow.

9105 has not yet been returned to Optare (contrary to what Go North East's fleet news suggested), and I understand this bus will temporarily take the place of 9104 on the ASDA contract.

Try the short 20A's on an evening from Rainton Bridge.
Not much of a trip.
The 20's always seem to have one on a Saturday too.

Guess I was lucky in getting it popping through one of the holes in Byker Wall today then.

Will prob get 9105 later in the week though.
