Few month ago. They have one fitter based there for call outs. But all work is done at benton now.

Just done some digging and found out the reasons why.
Interesting times ahead at Benton it seems!

If the Cadets are likely to be withdrawn in the near future, what will happen with the Cadets within the Driving School?

Will these also be withdrawn, Anyone any ideas or in the know of what the Training School is likely to receive in their place?

Since the Driving School received the Cadets when the coaches went to Hexham for School Contract work, they never got painted into the Training School livery like the coaches did, all they received were "L" plates and a yellow Training Vehicle vinyl to the front. I've always thought they never looked finished and could do with a bit more branding up!

I was going to mention this earlier but forgot; 6080's front destination blind is only showing the destination and not the service number.

Not sure if all of the Cadets have had the treatmeant - but at least one has had what looks like a coach seat fitted for the instructor.

Not enough to cover pvr

On 6013 on the 15 from Durham, on the road from Lanchester to Consett there's been an accident so if anyone is waiting for the 15 at Consett this is why it looks like will be delayed, looks bad, hope the occupants are ok. Looks like someone tried to overtake on a bend. Bus tried to turn around and has got stuck. JCB has arrived to try to get the bus out.

This bus was at Deptford earlier today for PSV.

Issues with the 20's tonight?
Just seen 5204 (with a defective brake light) NIS closely followed by 5213 which was in service.
It should be said, both were on a section of route exclusive to the 20a/X20.

Also tonight, was witness to the sorry sight of a President exiting Washington Services and trying to get on to the A194 (M).

5206 has lost some of its fast cats branding.. Its route is the only remaining.

Just left Park Lane.

It was given a partial repaint about a month ago - Bazza got a photo of it not long after it was painted. I believe all remaining branding on the "Fast Cats" branded Scania L94s is due to be removed shortly - there's probably more branding on missing than present on these buses at the moment.

The removal of the "Northern" fleet name from the fleet is going to be sped up somewhat too. The repaints will continue, probably at a slower pace, but in the mean time, the "Northern" lettering will simply be removed. 3974 is one of the first to have the "Northern" fleet names removed, without being repainted.

Hopefully a new style brand will be applied, i hope they don't get rid of the brand, its in my top 5.


I'm also hopeful they will replace 4955, 4973,4974,4975, 4976 on the Fast Cats with 5211,5212,5213,5214, 5215 from the Prince Bishops - so the Fast Cats will all be 54 Reg Scania's..

WIFI would be a good addition.

I was thinking, the other day, how dated the Fast Cats livery looks, now. It's so garish compared with most of the newer ones.

Does anyone know what the PVR's are for the Tynedale Links services? Do they all still interwork?
