Two replacement buses will be available between Sunderland and South Hylton. They will start at Sunderland at 10:10 and 10:20. These will be the replacement 900 buses. Taxis will continue until after the buses have started running.
Once we have an update from Network Rail I will let you know. Sorry for the delays this has caused, and thank you all for your continued patience and understanding.

Have to wonder how hard they have tried to find buses as even Stagecoach would have spares given the reduced PVR on the 1 for the summer, not to mention all of the displaced Enviro400s.
Last night it was all JH Coaches (not GNE as stated above) - presume it was JH again today?

We currently have a line closure between Brockley Whins and Pelaw, due to an issue with network rails overhead line.
There is ticket acceptance on the 27 Heworth to Jarrow, the 9, 88, and 5 as of 3:05
We are running a shuttle service between Brockley Whins and South Hylton, which will be regulated to a frequent service but we do not have a timetable.
