Baffled by the fact there are more direct North Shields - Sunderland buses (and return), on an evening than during the day mind.
Isn't that when demand is usually lower?

(13 Oct 2016, 9:44 am)Michael wrote I can only see a service every 20 minutes from Sunderland to Jarrow... unless another bus is getting diverted towards Jarrow...Ditto.
I'm sure its secured between Jarrow and North Shields, probables why there's more of a service between those on a Sunday/evening.. still daft though.
Frequency to North Shields has also dropped to hourly
(13 Oct 2016, 9:49 am)Andreos1 wrote Ditto.
The timetable has the 'up to every 15 minutes' wording on it though.
Goodness knows.
Yeah, the direct Sunderland - N Shields is hourly during the day, but twice hourly on a night.
Jarrow - N Shields is twice an hour at all times, with the a bus doing a long run to N Shields, doing a short trip to Jarrow and back, before heading back on a full one to Sunderland.

(13 Oct 2016, 12:38 pm)Jimmi wrote Take it GNE weren't in much of a position of being able to change the times of the North Shields - Jarrow section of the route, can only assume Nexus wanted the service to stay half hourly on this section?
From my experiences of service 9, the 15 minutes frequency was overkill really, I don't know how many people travel the full route from the North Shields area to Sunderland but I can't imagine it's that many especially when you have the much more frequent Metro running between North Shields and Sunderland.
I feel that the new timetable isn't the best but most of us were heavily under the impression that the full route would drop down to half hourly, I feel it's better that the greater used section of the route (Sunderland - Jarrow) has a 20 minute frequency rather than the original assumption of it being half hourly, just a pity that there will only be one direct bus an hour between Sunderland and North Shields but I don't think many will be too badly affected by the changes.
(13 Oct 2016, 9:53 am)Michael wrote Looks like the PVR has dropped from 7 to 4?
Probables means Deptford could run full Scania on it, if Deptford receive a couple of more Scania's (if Deptford are gaining it fully), as it looks like the School bus runs are dropped.
X1 dropping from every 10 minutes to every 12......PVR dropping from 14 to 12, but i would imagine it'll be like the 56, with one extra in the PVR so it'll be 13 PVR, then 1 branded spare.
Wonder if the changes, is the reason why 3943 has yet to be rebranded, probables move else where now.
