I get a feeling you'll see it on the X30 as well as a few others!!, wonder if we'll see it in toon link livery?

Certainly suggests that they will be allocated to a service alongside Omnicities. In which case, I would hope that the ones being repainted are retrimmed just to tidy them up a bit.

Send it back, send it back!
Alpha would take kindly!

I half knew about a [redacted], but I thought they'd be sending them all to replace those horrible B7s. Maybe they will!
I always thought they'd look good in black.

The content of the changes around stanley hasn't exactly been kept secret. Some magazine came out and it's everywhere - even has been passed onto random questioning passengers, although the vosa regs gave a large amount of it away. I like speculation, as everyone should know. In NEB spirit, lets do what enthusiasts do best and speculate some more [SMILING FACE WITH OPEN MOUTH AND SMILING EYES]

...on a seperate note, is 5249 fitted with one of those spooky big brother machines, as opposed to just standard CCTV? It looks like 6122s CCTV but has a glowing green light.

Fitted with a DriveCam - which is sort of like a telematics system combined with CCTV. In the event of harsh acceleration/braking etc, the CCTV of the road in front and the driver's cab will automatically be downloaded and sent to the Depot Manager to view, within minutes of it happening.

The trial is ongoing at Washington, so 5248/49 will need to donate these cameras to 5337/38.

Think 6126's next journey is probably going to be the 14:57 X70 from Consett, not the 14:27 X71 which is Omnicity 5249.

That's a good idea, will help with claims and accidents, as we know some people can over re-act!

It may have been taken off for scholars as that time is approaching (unless blinded up for X70 in the next few minutes of course).

Was blinded up for X70 to Newcastle just before it got into the bus station, it's currently parked against the wall. Can't give anymore info as I'm leaving on the 15A to Durham now.

Sure the 14.57 is done by the bus coming in then going back out again without the break.

• 18:03 6 from Stanley Bus Station to Newcastle Eldon Square (arr 19:18)
• 19:25 6 from Newcastle Eldon Square to Stanley Bus Station (arr 20:37)

You probably will, not even in Durham yet and goodness knows how long it will take for a 7 to appear to take me home [emoji19]

Bad enough that due to delays, I had to give up on my scenic shot and get one in Consett and also as a consequence of that I'm already half an hour behind time.

I'd say not any which are corp. It makes me think some were deliberately not branded red/blue. Saving paint, makes a change!

There's currently 7 in the plain red livery include the one already done, that's 8.

So going by that, the allocation for Toonlink would be 8 Omnidekka's and 11 Omnicities. do you which services will be under the brand?, i would imagine it'll be the 6/X30/X31/X70/X71?

Not sure on what the PVR's is for those routes above, but with changes coming up anything can happen...

6 -
X30/X31 - 6 PVR
X70/X71 -

Speculation, not confirmed.

The ones in the new corporate livery have only been done because they have been at Saltmeadows for some work. Almost 'accidental' repaints ie they weren't planned to be done for a while but they may as well do them while they are there (except 3995/6 which were planned).

Makes sense then, the 5 from the 12/12A could go on the X70/X71, with the current X30/X31 staying on there and the Omnidekkas for the 6 (and 6A?).

Yes. At the moment, the X30/X31 is PVR 6 (is 7 for a bit as the bus that does the 836 scholars from Tanfield heads to Newcastle and does an X30 to Stanley) with the 6/X70/X71 being 10.
