He also said he'd specifically asked about the validity in the past, and had it confirmed. This doesn't seem to make sense, as the ticket is supposed to be valid on all the "Big Three" for journeys within the boundary, even on routes that then go outside. Unfortunately the Nexus web site doesn't seem to have a clear section on the exact terms and conditions for the ticket. Any thoughts?

Surely he knows the T&W boundary considering that the driver in question unless new, would've had let many other people on between Brunton Park and Newcastle on the Morpeth / Ashington 'X' services!!!
It's clearly signposted where the Northumberland / T&W border is on the A192!

It always used to annoy me when I went to Gateshead College and used the X34 from the Nook that I'd have to walk through the town centre (this was as they were building the tesco, so not a pretty walk) to the interchange to catch my bus to Team Valley. It meant I was more likely to use a metro too because there was less walking to do.

Break of journey
Break of journey is allowed on the outward portion of Off-Peak tickets unless otherwise indicated by a restriction shown against the ticket's validity code and in all cases on the return portion of Off-Peak return tickets.
You may start, break and resume, or end your journey at any intermediate station along the route of travel on Off-Peak tickets unless the ticket restriction for the journey you are making does not allow it. If you intend to start, break and resume, or end your journey at any intermediate station, please call 03457 48 49 50 to check if it is available on your specific journey.

A query of my own... where does PCL Travel's service 15 stop at Cragside heading towards Alnwick? I don't really want to be stood in the wrong place just for the bus to drive past as I need to catch a train from Alnmouth...
