It has the number 83 as going to Heworth and the 84 as terminating at Concord, above where it shows the times of the first journeys Monday to Friday: - https://assets.goaheadbus.com/media/cms_...17_WEB.pdfBetter than the 4 one did a few months ago, 1824->1906 was repeated twice, leaving some quite misleading times displayed. The penshaw short was shown at least twice

Now if what they have heard turns out to be true, it would allow them to get out of the need for a tachograph by splitting the X9 at Peterlee and X10 at Dalton Park - perfectly coinciding with new vehicles too!

it always seemed such a pointless service that only ever really gets passengers if it gets in ahead of the 555

(13 Jul 2017, 8:30 pm)S813 FVK wrote I think that it would be the X10 that would be sent into Dalton Park.
The 2 registrations that you have posted make it clear to me that they are looking to split the services to avoid the use of a tachograph. The X9 can be split at Peterlee but the X10 can't be split from the Peterlee slip-road but can be at Dalton Park, as shown by Stagecoach's X55.
(14 Jul 2017, 12:54 pm)cbma06 wrote The X55 doesn't stop on A19 sliproad anyway, nothing wrong with splitting the X10 on peterlee sliproad as there's a bus stop at this location.

It'll do better than the X55.
(14 Jul 2017, 11:18 pm)BusLoverMum wrote The X55 is too infrequent to survive. The long one stands half a chance, but only for people who want to spend the working dqy in Newcastle on Satuday only. Most people wanting a bus to Newcastle for work wil have a GNE weeky or monthly pass, for that route. You could probably count them on the fingers of one hand and still pick your nose on both sides with the spares.

Just hope diverting the X10 to Dalton Park doesn't cause chaos for the people who use it.
(15 Jul 2017, 11:48 am)cbma06 wrote Can't see the X10 interfering with the passenger numbers on the X55, it's mostly stagecoach Hartlepool territory passengers that would use it.

(15 Jul 2017, 5:11 pm)cbma06 wrote On a normal day by the time the X10 pulls off the A19 and gone into dalton park and back on the A19, the X10 would of already passed Peterlee, if there's an event on at dalton park then the X10 would probably of reached norton or Stockton by the time it rejoined A19, can see this as a bad idea, what's wrong with passengers alighting at A19 northbound and then jump on the X6 to dalton park at the same bus stop and doing southbound get off at moorcock and walk around the corner to jump on the X10 southbound
