Of the 'V' services, only the V1 and V8 run on Sunday.
(27 Nov 2013, 7:49 pm)Dan I believe there are four operational Consett boards on Sundays, which includes the 15.

I wouldn't be too sure on Gateshead getting rid of all their Volvo Olympians. They have a contract for a Jewish School that stipulates that the buses mustn't carry no adverts (inside & outside) whatsoever. And currently they've got 2 Volvo Olympians for this duty. I know 3827 is one of them. I cannot remember the other one.

(27 Nov 2013, 10:38 pm)Dan If memory serves, the one I photographed on that scholar when it was first starting operation was 3820.
Who's to say that GNE will even have that contract in two months time, however? Scholars are known to change quite often. It could be a three month contract for all we know.

It's a private contract seperate to the Nexus Scholar services. They've got it until at least the summer. Also it be the only service operating on New Years Day as the Jewish School is open that day.
Still reluctant to believe that Gateshead will retain two Olympians for this contract.
Would it not be more appropriate to remove advertisements from the Presidents, which are to take a back seat role (scholars/spares only) rather than retain Olympians which were actually due to be withdrawn this year (assuming 15 year age limit)? A fresh lick of paint when they come off Pronto duties and you're sorted.
