I can only recall ever seeing an inspector once in my whole life, and that was on The Angel probably about 5 years ago.
That's unless you count the one on the bus during the strikes that got attacked on the X46. I think he was the Northumbria one as neither he or the driver (from Yorkshire) knew the route of the 6 and had to ask passengers the way through Spennymoor and still went the wrong way!

speaking of buses going the wrong way one of the last 1A's before the chenge I got back to kibblesworth didn't turn left to go past the ravens-worth... it headed straight up the bank....... he had to do a U turn at the garden center to get the bus in the opposite direction as i don't think the road was meant for a bus!

Well the 6 had to do a many point turn at the Spennymoor ASDA roundabout, luckily the cars let him which is unusual for Drivers in Durham!

Some interesting diversions on the X3/X3A/X4 over recent days due to the protests at Tees Dock and Grangetown. Most seem to be going down Redcar Lane and the A174. One this morning went down Birchington Avenue. Some were coming off at Ormesby and then towards Brambles Farm. One did the whole length of the A174 Parkway and then the A19 and A66. Do the drivers themselves decide?

As well as the A66 for some reason best known to the themselves the police had the Trunk Road blocked off between the Magnet and West Gate Roundabout eastbound only. I travelled on an X4 westbound and there was no reason whatever for it being shut eastbound.

So Arriva are "revising" frequencies on Darlington services 4, 9, 10 13a and 13b from 21.7. A guess/certainty is the revision will be downwards seeing a reduction in frequencies thus releasing Solos from Darlington. Is this how the Darts North of the Tyne are finally to be removed?

If they make it the same frequency as a Saturday it could quite possibly free up other vehicles, 1406 or 1416 are supposed to be moving to Stockton, the spare solos could be used on the 8/8A, could also be starting to send things away for repaint, 2819/2820 for example, the possibility are endless

Seen a max Gemini roaming around Sunderland. Looked like a Jesmond vehicle. Any clues why it’s in Sunderland?

Do you know what is wrong with 7426 as I require that one. On Saturday went to Whitby 7424 was out along with 143? And 4705.

It was on X93s last Monday with 7424. 7425 was on 62s.

In the absence of updates to the fleetlists on this site, I went searching the internet for possible alternative sources of information.

Having discounted the ukbuses one (too many obvious inaccuracies!), I stumbled across this one by "quack77": http://quack77.uk/fleetlists/fleet.php?ownerid=112

The page does note that the fleet list is incomplete; in particular there's an absence of Streetlites or Temsas. However, apart from these, my knowledge of the fleet suggests that it's otherwise quite accurate. Is anyone with better knowledge than mine able to verify that?

There's quite a few mistakes in this one as well such as stating 1404/05 are Darlington based when they are in fact Stockton based, some of the Pulsar's that transferred to Belmont for X12 are still down as being Newcastle based (Jesmond).

I'll try and provide some updates if time permits and I remember, things have been quite busy lately so likely won't happen
