Ex MTL Marshall Capital 7674 was out on 61 lates 18/12/13! not bad for a bus that is about to get withdrawn!

Have read today from a reliable source that this operator has ceased trading today. Lancashire County Council has cancelled their contract on the 80. I am sure more details will follow.

Classic Bus North West was the commercial operating arm of Lancastrian Transport Trust who owned a selection of Blackpool Trams, hence BTO's interest in the story.

Red rocket at the 22 services both seem to be still operating, wonder whats going on...

Red Rocket & 22 on different licences. Red Rocket finishes today and they hope to restart it at Easter although I can't see that happening. The 22 is on Oakwood Travel's licence.

Reports on Facebook claiming that Wright Renown 2725's RTA damage is to bad to fix however gut feeling is telling me this is not the case, i will post when i got things confirmed.

I actually saw 69204 yesterday evening on late 425s while I was out and about on Stagecoach 78s with a friend of mine, also yesterday 348/350 seemed to be back to mostly Gemini operation with one of the 53--- Solo's thrown in for good measure

Gut feeling or no gut feeling it just depends on bad the Chassis is after the accident, while the body might not look badly damaged its actually the underneath that actually counts which is something we don't see

As for the 80 which they recently started operating I don't think that Lanacashire County Council are bothering putting this out to emergency tender

Not sure if it was being prepped for sale but when I went past JPTs yard on the train last Saturday one of the white BMC Falcons that's been long term off the road was being attended to in the workshops

St helens have received its 1st ex london gemini 1 being LJ51 DHF (4206) for use on its schools and the odd workings in service too as we are to have 2 of these as the other is nearly complete being ex london VLW28.
Also st helens have received solo sr ev demonstrator YJ13 HKY which im lead to beleive it may be getting ready to use but unsure as need to find out for sure.

I had 7634 on my 34/34A yeasterday and its still a decent bus for a dennis marshall as its still fighting on considering all the rest of st helens marshalls have been withdrawn a for a few months now.

I was able to catch up with the Condor today and it was driven by the Manager of the Firm Andrew, the Bus is a great example, rattle free and comfy, The trip was made better by Christmas Music being played throughout the bus!

Was able to get a ride on the last 194X of the day, used it from Eccelston Police Station to St Helens Town Centre, only myself on the Bus. Bus i had was Enviro 300 27776!
