(22 Dec 2019, 4:43 pm)Kuyoyo They will likely be getting withdrawn - unless they get earmarked for the Cummins Euro6 conversion. They don't meet the upcoming LEZ scheme.

Forgive my ignorance but do all services from slatyford and walkergate actually go into Newcastle city centre where the LEZ is. Can’t see them making sure every bus in depots meet the criteria if they don’t need to be. like South Shields only using certain buses on 10/11 as contract specific engine requirements.
Kind regards
Chris

How come Stagecoach Newcastle now have NSAs on the new buses? Are the NSAs only going to be on 39/40 or will they be added to other services in the future?

(30 Dec 2019, 4:30 pm)tyresmoke Stockton's new batch of E200's have the system fitted also, comes as standard on new Stagecoach deliveries now. I believe they're programmed for every route in the depot. Anyone know whether this includes Hartlepool which often borrows buses from Stockton?

(30 Dec 2019, 4:45 pm)OrangeArrow49 So all Walkergate operated services will have NSAs if they get allocated the new buses? I have only seen the new buses on the 39 and 40 so far.
I thought Stagecoach had decided against introducing NSAs.

(30 Dec 2019, 4:56 pm)Dan Its fitment is likely to become law at some stage in the near future for larger operators - so not really up to them to decide against it! Makes sense commercially to fit it now as it's easily hidden within the cost of a brand new bus, than it is to pay for the kit upfront and retrofit.
Don't think the kits in Newcastle are working yet, mind, unless things have changed in the last week or so?
