They were a massive upgrade in so many ways when the first ones entered on the old X30/X31 (Lanchester-Newcastle) - The power of the engines, the overall comfort and the windows not raining down on you were the highlights! Some of the Lolynes they replaced were dreadful!
Luckily 6131/32/34/35/44/46-48/62-74 will be staying

School summer holidays, free for all with deckers now as they can use the time to do some repairs on the regular fleet now they have a surplus of busses.

Booked working - the last 55 from Sunderland to Wingate works off the last short 55 from Doxford Park, which works off the 1654 2 from Washington (bus runs light from Silksworth to Doxford Park). Same bus also works the 0656 8A from Sunderland to Washington on a morning.

Seems like 5268 and 5269 have moved to Riverside and 5273 is VOR aswell so it's forced the Solo's onto the 19 plus one of the peak 19 runs seems to be interworking with the H1 using a Solo aswell, doesn't look like there was anything else there to actually run the service.

According to Bus Times, yes those 61s are also on the end of a 2 board - while a 61 board drops onto the evening short 2s around the same time.

Think it's something to do with the tickets machine as the odd coach will track on the 58 or 67 or 69

Correct me if i'm wrong but i don't think Washington have many spare solos so I think any bus can be used as spare. I've seen Ominicities, Citaros and even geminis allocated to 85/86 over the past few years as a result.

They have two spare minibuses, which is about the right number in percentage terms.
