Obviously GNE can't do much about the Metrocentre's rebrand to the late 90s, but the front of 3942 looks dreary. Similarly the rear of 3941, that neon green and dark blue with that font, just looks out of place.

3942 has entered service, first being on scholars and when I last checked was on the X21

The "every day" part on 3941 (under "every hour") seems to clash quite badly too - unless it's just bad lighting in the few pictures online?

(07 Sep 2021, 9:07 pm)Dan wrote Metrocentre Shuttle is for X66yes good promotion anyways, but especially since Stagecoach 100 is still suspended due to shortage of drivers. At this rate people will get soo used to using GNE they maybe might not go back to Stagecoach, unless they are connecting from stagecoach as it'll be cheaper.
Metrocentre Express is for X22
(Because that’s what they are…!)
And there will be some increased promotion of the ‘Metrocentre Link’ on all the services which provide a service approx up to every 5 min between Newcastle and Metrocentre (6, 10/A/B, 47, X45/6).

(18 Jan 2022, 4:45 pm)streetdeckfan wrote Had 3941 on the X21 today and I must say it was a lovely ride. Suspension is nice and smooth, it was relatively rattle free, and sound of the engine was quite relaxing.
I did notice it's got speakers in the ceiling but no NSA system, what's the story behind that?

Service withdrawn? How long did that last?

(22 Feb 2022, 1:27 pm)Omega54 wrote I don't think so why paint 2 buses create timetables for a service which lasted 2 months.Well there is that... But it tended to be the patter they used when a vaguely useful new service was introduced and then withdrawn a few months later.
