Been one or 2 of the 10xxx batch straying on 12 and 39/40 recently. Think I saw 22065 on 12 as well.
Also been E400 hybrids on 39/40 including 12065 in the old green livery.

I didn't know where to put this but...why is the 99 operated by a double decker, when it used to be operated by a minibus

Think it runs on the 939? - which is always empty when I see it.

18 is the same but the bus starts and ends on a school route - seems a waste of a bus.

99 is a pointless route - wonder if it could be merged with another route?

I rarely see the 939 so can't comment on the passenger numbers

18 is always empty too - surprised the whole route hasn't been withdrawn yet.

99 is a secured service to provide a direct link from Castletown to the Royal Hospital, it will stay and with vehicle use off school contracts, in term time will be a decker.

Busways have thrown the 18 up for withdrawal before, but it survived!

There starting killing of the 18/19 when there started withdrawl of the Sunday journeys then evening journeys trying to force passengers to change in city centre for forward travel, downfall for service 6 was when the qa bridge was shut for maintenance and thr 18/19 took over most of the route

I'm actually surprised it has, there's been constant route changes to the 18 since the 19 was withdrawn....... wonder if we'll expect more in the new year?

I'm expecting service changes to all the Sunderland services in the new year - now they've had some time to asses the numbers after the lockdowns.

The closure of the Queen Alex Bridge caused those services to be withdrawn/changed... the 6 was a handy route too... I wonder if they'll of kept those routes going if the bridge never shut?

Edit: was 2005 when the bridge shut for maintenance... was it really that long ago?
