GNE Questions about fleet withdrawals/buses VOR/fleet questions
(11 May 2023, 5:05 pm)Andreos1 Not sure I've seen it mentioned and it's certainly not worth creating a new thread (move it to a more relevant one if needs be), but noticed a 626 Coach Hire coach showing a Go North East logo on the blind.Assisting with driver training. Not for service.
Hiring in again?

(09 May 2023, 8:50 pm)MCN881L 665 has turned up at Washington depot tonightSaw that yesterday in Sunderland, from the way that I saw it go, it looked like it was doing the 8 driving training. As with it going to every 30 mins they probably need more trained.
Still say 6336/7 never really fitted into the fleet, especially from a reliability point of view, and still think they’ll be sold on somewhere else. I also think the original angel hybrids will be on their way shortly, fleet is ageing quickly and the cost to keep the older hybrids on the road must be massive. A lot of the b9s are also coming of age now, and time is catching up on them.
(11 May 2023, 8:03 pm)MCN881L 6309 was on the X5/X15 today, passed it at Whitton GilbertHow come it's at Consett
saw 6336 and 6337 both in the maintenance bays at houndsgill last weekend
also 641 and 643 look to be parked up. With the other withdrawn solos

Idk what everyone else thinks but I think about what will happen to them from time to time

(11 May 2023, 11:39 pm)itsadam How come it's at ConsettI think they'll end up on the 56. Which is stupid as the 56 should have brand new buses with the 10/10A/10B (which fits streetdecks), 60, 20/20A.

But really they should go on the 16/16A/X5/X15 if other services get new buses.
27 would need new/replacement buses eventually as well

(16 May 2023, 4:36 pm)Storx It's a busier route than the 56 which rarely gets investment.
