All have been converted to single-door at Thorntons but are being repainted at Saltmeadows.

Currently on 6955 and it was happily sitting at 60mph GPS on the A1 with it occasionally going up to 65mph. I get the impression if it wasn't for the traffic it could have kept going.

Perhaps these fit the bill, have 4 in DFDS livery with 2 spare in fleet colours, or even all 6. It's not unheard since they had about 10 buses branded for DFDS work around the early noughties (3538/3540/3674/3744/3832/3833/3866/3867/3890/3891). Basically the buses are acting as mobile adverts for DFDS, I think it might be part of the contract for vehicles to be painted up, or at least it used to be. Mind there is still two Omnidekkas knocking around the Eastern Gateshead routes promoting trips to Amsterdam.
