I'm sure the BSIP money being spent to support the frequency increases on the Stagecoach 1 and 30/31 in Newcastle will result in passenger numbers growing and commercial operation, once the BSIP funding expires in April 2026.
It's almost as if its a blatant misuse of public money to fund returning previously commercially viable frequencies to be once again become commercially viable, but only once the taxpayer funded handouts dry up. Whether its Stagecoach, GNE or anyone else, it stinks.
