I have asked for fleet numbers for several new buses but I was told (very sarcastically) the fleet numbers will be known once the bus rolls in through the door

Anybody heading to Teesside, the ex-Sunderland MANs are allocated today as followed:

22731 is on 13, 0847 Salters Lane-Hemlington
22733 is on 59/61, 0912 61 then 0845 59 to Summerville Tesco
22735 is on 52, 0824 Stockton-Billingham

22453 is also now back at Sunderland and is on the 12s today.

I have only just seen this Michael. As I understand it, it takes about 8 weeks to build the GAS buses, so chances are that they are being built now for their delivery in May. Regards Richard

22486 appears to be another ALX300 withdrawn at Sunderland - now parked up at the back with the remainder of the 227xx batch. This gives a total of 16 MAN/ALX300 off so far (excluding those that paid temporary visits to Teesside) after the 17 gas buses entered service.

No we are getting 2 new e200s midi size to replace 2 ALX300s. They ain't fixing 492 with 488s parts to just replace it are they? 33101 and 33492s MOTs aren't up till October.

Gas buses have been allocated to service 3 again today, so must have been linked to the issues with the refuelling infrastructure last Sunday.

33492 will see service again it's still being repaired
