(25 May 2014, 7:12 pm)Dan wrote Although I quite like those, I'm of the understanding that 5390's display is a white display as opposed to a full coloured LED display, showing white displays?
The current destination displays that are coloured only have the number part coloured too, so the destination display wouldn't be able to be 'coloured' white.
I'd imagine the cost of a full colour LED would be extortionate.

I understand that GNE will not be buying any colour route number blinds in the future anyway, they will either be amber or white (after the Versa trial), with a full destination on the rear rather than just a route number.

(25 May 2014, 7:26 pm)citaro5284 wrote Sort of yes, just looking to see if using other fonts than the 'norm' look much different, sometimes we feel they look a bit too robotic. Cannot see all route numbers changing to Arial, but it is work in progress.

That one was for the terminus of the 19 though - if it was scrolling it would just have Royal Quays, Cobalt etc.
