Happened with most of the people in my year, too. Highest grade was a C for Biology.

I would have gotten a 6C in that test had I got 30, I got 28.

Life sucks sometimes.

Jeez, I'm just really annoyed because I know that if I'd revised as I should have I could easily have got more than that, maybe a C. Think I'm still thinking like a GCSE student, hopefully this is the reality check I need...

Yeah, that's been the general consensus of most of my year group who take sciences... Maths was the same.

Our Head of Year said it's the same every year and it is the wake up call everyone needs.

Wouldn't worry about it. It helps when your paper is independently marked, rather than by people who know you!

I didn't get above a D in any mock exam, which certainly didn't reflect my end results.

My chemistry and maths weren't too shabby (C and A). But I revised, more than biology anyway, for them
Seems like a general trend though, people I know who are very clever are getting dodgy grades... (In science)
Just hoping my History teacher marks nice...

Moonpig

Ordered a card for a friend's birthday last Wednesday using their 'First Class' postal service estimated delivery 1-3 working days - it's now been 5 working days and it's still not arrived. First and I think the way things are going only time I'm ordering any personalised cards from them.

Thats actually tidy compared to when I used to collect bus stuff, most of it ended up in a heap at the bottom of my wardrobe...

When i lived in a childrens home, at one point bus timetables, papers and magazines kept my bed standing, i squeezed that much underneath that when a leg snapped, the crap under it kept it up [FACE WITH TEARS OF JOY]

Top up card for my phone is bent.

Also the little Tesco in Darlington Centre don't do top ups, not that it would work as the card is bent.

Probably, just not really sure how.

May try going into the O2 shop tomorrow and see what they can do.

With O2, you used to be able to ring up and top up via debit card, using the automated service.

Think I could still do that as I have a number in my contacts for top up.

Will try and sort card out tomorrow but if I can't I will do that.

I've noticed that too.

The forums being very slow for posting things...
By the time this has posted, it would have been five minutes.

EDIT: This time it took about 45 seconds.

EDIT: Above edit took over a minute to appear on post.
Dan   15 Jan 2015, 6:15 pm
It's no bother when using the "Quick Reply" function - it's just when you're quoting. Irritating, nevertheless.

Going to the swimming baths only to find out that the pool is being cleaned.

The underwater cleaning device looked pretty cool though. First time I've ever seen one.

Indeed it does, Question now though is, how the fuck do you upload photos.

There is a Yahoo search bar instead of the Flick banner.
