Ahaha, I was just kidding. Yeah I did notice it's engine screaming (hence - 'throttled in the engine' Wink).

I wasnt aiming it at you as such. Just people who take banter in a more serious manner. 3823 has the same screaming - i also think 3823s acceleration has improved since it has gained its new front end.

Will be getting the 36 to school on it's first day! Smile

I meet with a friend at 08:10, and my mam normally drives me up - we tend to get to school for 08:20ish. I love being in early because you experience how quiet things get.

Looks like I'll get up at 07:00, shower, get dressed, and leave my house at around 07:40ish to get the journey that starts at 07:35 from Houghton, and should get to my nearest stop at 07:55 and get me into Chester for 08:00 - might even meet my friend too! Big Grin

Looking forward to seeing some Deptford vehicles in CLS, might even strike gold (that's a really bad pun I know!) and get something rare...

I used to be the same when I was in the younger years. I used to get a hell of a lot of work done when I got in at 08:00am, as nobody else would get in until around 08:30am. It was like 30 minutes of pure silence where I could fully concentrate on my work. Didn't particularly like being the one who had to switch on lights and suchlike, though.

Complete opposite now. I prefer the extra 30 minutes in bed, and get in at around 08:30am usually. Varies day by day though - some days I go in really early if I get up early enough without being tired.
Dan   25 Jan 2015, 7:30 pm
(25 Jan 2015, 7:28 pm)Adam wrote I was sort of the opposite. I used to get in for 8:30 ready for an 8:45 start, go through the school day but then stay behind for at least an hour after school to do homework. It meant I didn't need to traipse as many files to and from school as I had my locker to store them Smile

See, I bet you finished around the normal time of 15:15 - 15:30 though?

Until this year, I finished at 16:00 every day. Even if I got in between 08:30am and 09:00am, that would be seven hours in school and I'd be so tired by the end of day. It's the main reason why I've never bothered with partaking in extra-curricular activities held after school - I just have not got the energy after that many hours in school.

I'm probably at my best in school during second/third period (1035 - 1240).
R852 PRG   25 Jan 2015, 7:43 pm
My daily routine is the following...

Alarm goes off at 07:00. I tend to put it on snooze until 07:20, then shower, wash, etc - then I get in the car at 08:00 to meet my friend at 08:10. We get to school for 08:20-08:25, then while our other friends come in we all get talking and other random stuff...

Go to tutor when the bell goes at 08:55 - and first period starts at 09:15. I do my first two lessons then sit with my friends at break from 11:15-11:35. Do third period - then for lunch we all go out for our food, I tend to go solo after that and go back inside to sit with some other friends until they all come back in. Sometimes I go and sit in the library by myself to do homework...and sometimes I go up to Art to doodle. [emoji6]

By the time the bell goes at 15:35 - I'm shot. The minute I get home I throw some casual stuff on, take the puppy for a walk and by the time that is done it's just after 16:00...my mam normally has dinner out for 16:30, and I tend to have an hour or two on the PS4 after that. My dad normally gets home for 18:00-19:00, and then he takes control of the front room.

I go up to shower, and sort out my homework for the next day. I tend to do that in the study, and after 20:00-20:30, I'm normally freed up! Smile

However, now that I feel my photos are improving somewhat (still not happy with those two up in Consett yesterday though), I think if I hear reports of something interesting on the 36 or 78, which both run past my nearest stop, I think I might start to work out some times and go for a snap. My problem is, I still haven't mastered moving objects - and they may come out a bit blurred...but nonetheless - a PB Scania or a Drifter Streetlite in Chester would certainly make for some excellent photo opportunities!

*For those interested, while everyone at school knows I'm interested in transport and stuff - I do actually have normal friends. I hope that doesn't sound weird, but you would expect someone like me who answers most PMs and posts within a minute or two to have no life - it's all because of push notifications. Most of my friends play on XBOX/PS4, a lot play for football and basketball teams, etc, but atm, none of us have any girlfriends. Big Grin

So yeah, I am pretty normal. I listen to music through my headphones when I'm on buses though. Wink

To be fair, it's always a huge rush in the morning for me. I get up at 7:30, have my breakfast, then I might have a game on Fifa or something. I usually leave at 8:25, for a 8:40 start, so I normally just get in the gates just in time Smile

I generally do all of my homework at lunchtime on a Thursday (when I get Maths/Science), so I can go on the XBOX for the night.

Oh how I'd love a daily routine...... those days are over! Start times anywhere between 0515 (soon 0445!) and 1635 play havoc with my body but you learn to adapt as best you can....

Someone who I know who works at Arriva Ashington, starts at 0400. He would probably wake up at 0300 as he lives in Blyth, and normally eats a McDonalds for breakfast plus signing in and all that. I would love waking up at 0300 to work on the buses, it would be interesting.

I think the first 21 out the depot at Chester is at 04:30, I imagine the driver must start at around 04:00.

First bus out of the depot for Deptford is at 03:30am, last bus in at night is around 01:30am. Was discussing this with the driver of 8329 the other night - he asked me if I wanted to become a bus driver after seeing me taking photos, and I laughed and said no on the basis that the hours are just completely bizarre.
