Bagpuss was probably before my time and I don't recall it ever being on television during my childhood.

Never really liked Mr Benn.

Can't really remember my favourite shows as a little one, but here are a few I can recall:

• Thomas & Friends (ultimate show for a boy)
• Tom & Jerry
• Brum
• Come Outside (always loved that)
• Blue's Clues (was some sort of morning show that I remember, was presented by a black man with a blue jumper or something haha)
• Teletubbies
• SpongeBob (never gets old, sometimes when I'm bored out of my skull and suffering from daytime TV, I put it on! Tongue)

I'm sure there's loads more. I think CBeebies, Nick Jr. and NickToons were the places to be!

In the night garden
Henrys Cat
Rocko's Modern Life

Might watch it in an hour or so once it's on catch up. Is it something I'd have to watch from series 1 or will I be alright starting with a new series?

You sure it was Whitley Bay Caravan Park?
There was a big sandbank/estuary in one of the shots, which made me think it was further up the coast towards Goswick Sands or (if they were desperate), Sandy Bay and Newbiggin.

Haven't watched Eastenders for a long time prior to tonight, but all of a sudden there seem to be a stack of well known actors/actresses in it.

Timothy West, Denise Van Outen, the fella from Brush Strokes and Flash adverts, a baddy from Dr Who? (no idea of her name, but she has been in other stuff) and a lass from This Life.
Then Martin is played by a different fella.

Quite sad tonight, as they announced that Jim has died (John Bardon), as he died late last year in real life.

Liked Jim Branning in it.
