(02 Jul 2019, 5:45 pm)JM03 Just a prediction but could we see all Consett deckers receive a full interior refurb throughout the 6 weeks to match the standard GNE spec with recieiving other deckers inc presidents and gemini 1s to help with PVR till they have been completed putting 6100,6116 and 6117 on hold for refurb?
I think 6100/16/17 will still go first.
I doubt the Omnidekkas will get a refurbishment but the B9s at Consett could well get refurbished next.

Fair point but could get extra help if more long omnidekkas arrive throughout the summer holidays?

Ex london B9s on 93/94 & 13/14/25/X22 to get some too

Then that can get rid of the solars and the 03 & 04 reg omnidekkas at CLS which cam be the beginning of the end of the omnidekkas. And to get rid of the rest of the 03/4 plate omnidekkas:
6920-4 to percy main replacing 6132/4/5 & 3995/6 to withdrawn
6925-9 to to consett to replace 6124/25/30/33 to withdrawn and 6143 to a reserve position. 6920-9 will all be repainted into the 2019 livery replaced at riverside by 10 new transfers from London
6144-6 will still have the current role for 1-2 years
Don't think the loops could have deckers as I think it has been mentioned before on here about a low or weak bridge on the route

(03 Jul 2019, 8:00 am)Jimmi The ex London B9s only got a light refurb about a year or two back why do them again so soon?! Assuming that 6118-6121 don't go to East Yorkshire like everyone keeps suggesting they could potentially be done although I think that varies as to what their future role is, if they go to Percy Main for 1/1A I think they'll just leave them as the only mod con on the Coaster is WiFi which they already have fitted. OmniDekka's certainly won't get touched.
In perspective, they could just end up refurbishing 6118-21 (even though it would mean 1x odd spec Coaster in corporate livery). This would then give Percy Main 4x spares to cover the 1/1A/309/310 (6100,19,20,21). 6118-21 are only 12-15 months younger than the Cobalt & Coast B9TLs in theory so it would make sense.

I believe the 6118-6121 are actually older. I may be corrected, but weren't ex-dealer stock and only registered when GNE acquired them when they bought the the streetlites in 2015; which is why they have 15 reg plates. I think they same age as Red Arrows.

No they are from 2015. They were some of the last produced so were on dealer stock specification.

(02 Jul 2019, 4:23 pm)Rapidsnap If they've numbered in age / registration order, I hazard a guess that 9072 is X672ABU and 9074 is MF51MBVThat is indeed the case

So was that rare?
Also can someone please tell me what routes the V reg and Ex EYMS presidents are allocated to
It runs off the 147 scholars and then does the 64 at 16:05, the 95 at 16:27, 64 at 17:05 and a 91 from Team Valley at 17:38.
Not sure what it’s allocated, but from what I’ve seen, it can be pretty much any Riverside or Saltmeadows double decker. EYMS ones are rare on it, but do pop up.
In terms of V reg presidents, 6010 is usually the 16:50 X21 from Newcastle and 6017 seems to pop up on the X1 quite regularly although neither are allocated. 6033 was quite regular on the 147, 64, 95 circuit but I haven’t spotted it on there for a week or so.
EYMS presidents don’t have allocated service work except 6941 which is regular on the 117 and 17:00 1, although that’s been missing this week.
