Come to stagecoach on teesside have come to replace mans single deckers.
(01 Sep 2020, 6:21 pm)stagecoachbusdepot 34605 was back up in Sunderland by mid afternoon - possibly just as well given passenger numbers on city services... I think BUS FULL was the most common destination I saw today. Hate to think what it will be like when the schools go back next week.

(01 Sep 2020, 6:35 pm)MichaelDefinitely in Sunderland, was parked up at the front of the depot around 5pm. And bustimes confirms ... arrived just after 4pm.
According to bustimes.org, its still on the 39 in Stockton, unless the ticket Machine was changed.

In addition, 24002 made its debut on Teesside today working a couple of trips on the 52 as a duplicate.
Stagecoach are also still operating the Sedgefield College services 5193 (Stillington) and 5197 (Wynyard) - 26276 worked the 5193 this morning (it's now out on 12s - what could be classed as the former E400 board which under the new timetables starts at 0933 in Middlesbrough but stays out until 2338 doing 12s and 38s) while 27167 worked the 5197 (and that is now on 10s).
South Shields MAN E200 39702 has transferred to Sunderland according to Bus Times and has been operating on service 8 (City Centre - South Hylton) this afternoon.
It looks like Sunderland depot could be struggling with 19211, 24001, 27734, 27736, 28005, 28040, 39714, 39718 and 39728 all off the road according to Bus Times; and 24002, 24003, 34605, 35189, 39672, 39674 and 39710 currently on loan to Stockton.
I have no idea how Stagecoach will be able to run the scholars contacts they have gained as well as extra / duplicate peak services with the amount of vehicles currently unavailable / at other depots. The engineering teams at each depot must under a lot of pressure at the moment.
I assume the additional decker that Sunderland Depot needs for scholars contracts hasn't turned up either?
