Are the Little Coasters and Tynedale Links getting NSAs?
When are the Little Coasters getting the ex-Venture buses mentioned a few days ago? They will need repainting for service. Hopefully the 11, 19, 41/41A and 42/42A will all get new buses and NSAs.

(24 Oct 2021, 2:12 pm)Storx No to NSA.same with 42
Why would they need repainting? The 19 hasn't been part of the awful Little Coaster network for ages now anyway so could easily be on there. It should have the 'nicer' buses anyway since it's the one with the longest journey times whereas the 11 and 41 are shorter hop journeys.

(24 Oct 2021, 12:19 pm)Keeiajs THe X21 NSA, I was on it from Newcaslte to Durham the other day and the NSA did my head in, I don't need a lecture everytime I leave a stop. thanks.

(24 Oct 2021, 11:41 pm)streetdeckfan You mean you don't need to know that Durham Cathedral is above a tight loop of the River Wear?
Honestly, that pisses me right off because it's not a loop! A loop is "a shape produced by a curve that bends round and crosses itself." Unless there's some magic floating river I've never heard of in Durham, it doesn't cross over itself and therefore isn't a loop!
Anyway, I just sit back and relax in the comfortable seats and connect to the free WiFi, and listen out for further announcements along the route.

(25 Oct 2021, 9:23 am)ne14ne1 That sounds rather touristy that commentary. Why is that included on a public service/commuter bus?I must say something which i haven't heard on any other service, we will be shortly arriving in Chester - Le Street in X mins. I did like that.
(25 Oct 2021, 9:48 am)Keeiajs I must say something which i haven't heard on any other service, we will be shortly arriving in Chester - Le Street in X mins. I did like that.Yeah, that's one of the things I loved about the X9/X10 NSA, and I'm glad they brought it over.

(25 Oct 2021, 11:31 am)streetdeckfan Yeah, that's one of the things I loved about the X9/X10 NSA, and I'm glad they brought it over.People putting their hand out for the X21 when they know it doesn't stop their does my head in.
One thing I do really like is the fact it tells you it runs express, so CLS it says 'this service will now run non-stop to Low Fell, where we will arrive in approx 13 minutes', then at Low Fell it says 'this service will now run non-stop to Gateshead Interchange where we will arrive in approx. 8 minutes'.
I feel like since they started doing that, the amount of people trying to get off between Low Fell and CLS has basically dropped to zero, where beforehand it was a regular occurrence.

(25 Oct 2021, 11:38 am)streetdeckfan Those people don't really bother me, they may not understand that it doesn't stop if they're new to buses.I get that tbh, just a bit annoying when it happens 5 times in a row
It's the people that get on and then ring the bell in Harlow Green, then whinge at the driver because he didn't stop that irritate me.
But, like I say, since they added the bit to the NSA, that's basically stopped

(25 Oct 2021, 8:03 pm)Dan It was included on the X21 from when it was branded as The Castles Express and Go North East were marketing the various castles en-route.I don't remember anything like that before it changed to X-lines like! In fact I remember complaining on here about the addition of it
Research at the time suggested there was an increase in the number of leisure users using the X21 to reach tourist destinations. It’s never really been changed since.
