In a bid to improve the internal quality standard of the "Red Arrows" branded Wright Eclipse Gemini 2 bodied Volvo B9TL allocation, this vehicle has undergone a minor in-house mid-life refurbishment by having its seats re-trimmed into Go North East's standard blue 'Go' moquette.

Surplus to requirements at Riverside following completion of the repainting of the former "Prince Bishops" branded Wright Streetlite DF/Wright Streetlite Max Micro-Hybrid vehicles which had transferred from Deptford; this vehicle has now transferred from Riverside Depot to Chester-le-Street, in order to alleviate vehicle shortages.

Following completion of engine repairs which rendered this vehicle unable to transfer on Sunday 19 May as originally intended, this vehicle has transferred from Washington Depot to Percy Main. At Percy Main this vehicle should primarily operate "Little Coasters" service 11 and act as a spare vehicle for "Little Coasters" services 40/41/42.

Following the transfer of Optare Solo M880/Optare 705 (YJ10 MFN) to Percy Main, this vehicle has in turn been released for transfer to Washington Depot. At Washington, this vehicle should operate "indiGo" services 81/82/83/84, as well as services 85/86.

"Little Coasters" is the new brand identity introduced to replace "indiGo" in North Tyneside, and additionally encompasses service 11 (Wallsend - Whitley Bay), alongside services 40/41/42 which were previously branded as "indiGo". This vehicle has been temporarily withdrawn from service at Percy Main Depot and released for internal refurbished and repaint at Bus & Coach World, Blackburn. The extensive refurbishment work includes, but is not limited to, external repaint; deep cleaning of the interior of the vehicle; renewal of floor coverings; cleaning all seat frames and re-trimming seats into leather with USB sockets... see more

As this vehicle's transfer to Percy Main Depot was not intended to be permanent, it retained the East Durham variant of its "indiGo" branding. As the vehicle is now confirmed to be a permanent fixture at Percy Main, it has now received the North Tyneside variant of "indiGo" branding.

Following repaint; this vehicle has received "Coaster" branding, with sub-branding for services 1/1A (Whitley Bay - Wallsend - Newcastle - Gateshead). The branding features the tagline "ELECTRIC HYBRID", showing a leaf with an electric bolt within it, promoting Go North East's commitment to providing more environmentally-friendly buses in the region.
