Having incurred defects uneconomical to repair, this vehicle has been withdrawn from service at Percy Main Depot. Dependent on the availability of spare parts from withdrawn Dennis Tridents due to be sold for scrap, it is subject to being reinstated, though it is planned to be permanently replaced later this year pending the arrival of a further cascaded Scania N94UD/East Lancs OmniDekka from Brighton & Hove, which will reduce the number of different vehicle types and standardise the fleet at Percy Main. Until its permanent replacement enters service, it is likely to be temporarily replaced by a Volvo B7TL/Plaxton President surplus to requirements at Stanley from 21st May.
Due to a PVR reduction at Belmont Depot, reflecting changes to services 86 and 870 which reduced the peak vehicle requirement by one, this vehicle has transferred from Belmont Depot to Ashington, in a reserve capacity.
Due to a reduction in the number of engineering spare vehicles at Belmont; this vehicle has moved from Belmont to Whitby, acting as a replacement for life-expired Dennis Dart SLF/Alexander ALX200 1103 (W469 XKX), which has been withdrawn.
This vehicle has moved from Stockton to Stockton (Under Repair), whilst undergoing repaint at Bus & Coach World, Blackburn, into Arriva's corporate livery, minus the cream cowhorn, for service 27's "Frequenta" upgrade.

From May 21st 2017; services 6, X30/X31 and X70/X71 will all be branded as "Toon Link" with a mixed allocation of Scania OmniCitys and Scania OmniDekkas (the latter of which will be allocated to certain running boards in order to provide a higher capacity on certain peak-time journeys where this is required).
As a result of network revisions in Newcastle which saw a total PVR reduction of 14 vehicles (6 at Slatyford and 8 at Walkergate), this vehicle has been withdrawn from service at Slatyford Depot.
Although not used at Hexham Depot during its time allocated there; this vehicle has transferred from Hexham Depot to Riverside, where it will see allocation to a free shuttle bus in operation between Monday 15th May and Friday 19th May, due to the X25 service being diverted between Wrekenton and Portobello as a result of a road closure at Eighton Banks. During this time, the X25 service will divert via Long Bank, A1 on-slip, A1, A1 off-slip and Mill House roundabout, with Newcastle bound services diverting from Portobello onto A1, Eighton Lodge roundabout and Long Bank to Wrekenton. This vehicle has received "Black Cats" branding. "Black Cats" is the new brand identity being introduced to encompass a variety of different frequent services in and around the city of Sunderland, promoting the cheap and competitively priced day and weekly tickets available for travel in the city (£3.65 for a day ticket, and £12.15 for a weekly ticket).

Having been impounded by the police since November 2015 following its involvement in a fatal collision, this vehicle has now been returned to Go North East. It will undergo minor bodywork and windscreen repairs at Saltmeadows Road Depot, then prepared for annual PSV test. After this, it will be sent to Bus & Coach World, Blackburn, for repaint and internal refurbishment.
This vehicle has been temporarily withdrawn from service at Riverside Depot and released for internal refurbished and repaint at Bus & Coach World, Blackburn. The extensive refurbishment work includes, but is not limited to, external repaint; deep cleaning of the interior of the vehicle; renewal of floor coverings; cleaning all seat frames and re-trimming seats into leather with USB sockets on the back of every seat; fitting blue accent lighting underneath seats to provide extra light on the gangway; and fitting Next Stop Announcements.
This vehicle has returned to Go North East following internal refurbishment and repaint into Go North East's corporate base livery. It is currently undergoing preparation for service at Saltmeadows Road Depot prior to allocation to Riverside Depot to act as a corporate liveried spare vehicle for "The Blaydon Racer" services 12/12A and "Citylink" service 57.
