Having previously been allocated to Stagecoach East Scotland's Dunfermline Depot, this vehicle has been acquired by Stagecoach North East and is currently undergoing preparation for service prior to entering service at Sunderland's Wheatsheaf Depot. Following the entry into service of the Scania K340EB/Caetano Levante coaches at Hexham Depot, this vehicle has been withdrawn from service at Hexham. It is subject to be reinstated, when required, by the Driver Training school at Riverside.
This vehicle has been treated to a partial repaint into Go North East's new corporate livery. The new livery design is a a lot more eye-catching and features a two-tone base livery, with the traditional key colour of red towards the front of the bus, and non-metallic dark blue towards the back. It is thought that further vinyls will be added at a later date, in order to reflect the quality and customer values of Go North East.

Originally added to commemorate the company's centenary year in 2013, this vehicle has had its 'Northern' fleet names stripped. Most vehicles in the fleet which retained these fleet names had them stripped over the summer months ahead of the introduction of a new company corporate livery, but this example wasn't stripped having originally been planned to undergo repaint.
Following the entry into service of the final former Thames Travel Optare Solo M880/Optare vehicle, fleet number 705, this vehicle has transferred from Washington Depot to Riverside.
