Prior to entering service in the region, this vehicle has received route branding for service 100 (Newcastle City Centre - Metrocentre). It is thought that this vehicle, and the others in its batch, will replace the Dennis Enviro 300/Alexander Enviro 300 vehicles currently allocated to the 100 service, which will cascade to Stockton Depot to replace the older MAN 18.220LF/Transbus ALX300 vehicles there.
Following the removal of the "Northern" branding from this vehicle, it has now been treated to a partial repaint into Go North East's new corporate livery. The new livery design is a a lot more eye-catching and features a two-tone base livery, with the traditional key colour of red towards the front of the bus, and non-metallic dark blue towards the back. It is thought that further vinyls will be added at a later date, in order to reflect the quality and customer values of Go North East.
This vehicle has entered service at Crook Depot, where it will be allocated to service 18, replacing Transbus MPD/Transbus Mini Pointer 571 (NK53 TMV) and 572 (NK53 TMX).
Having seen minimal use in Stagecarriage of Grangetown's fleet after purchase from Ensign Bus Co., Purfleet, this vehicle has now been sold for scrap to Ontime-Recovery, Spennymoor.
Following the entry into service of Optare Solo SR M890/Optare 695 (YJ13 HOA) and 696 (YJ13 HOH) at Crook Depot, this vehicle has been withdrawn from service. Whilst withdrawn from passenger use, it will remain in use by Go North East as a route learning vehicle at Peterlee Depot, prior to service changes taking place from Sunday 4th December 2016. It is also subject to be reinstated for further public use depending on minibus vehicle requirements.

Ahead of re-allocation to Hexham Depot to operate scholars services, this vehicle has been repainted into a plain white base livery, with large black Go North East fleet names.
Prior to entering service, this vehicle has been repainted into a plain red base livery. It has been repainted into the same shade of red which is used on the Scania L94UB/Wright Solar vehicles allocated to service 39 at Deptford, as well as the new Optare Solo SR M925/Optare vehicles allocated to service 33 at Deptford. It is thought that this vehicle will join them on service 238, and branded under the same network identity, once prepared for service.
Ahead of upcoming service changes which will see the operation of service 9 (Sunderland - North Shields) transfer from Percy Main Depot to Deptford, this vehicle has been repainted into Go North East's new corporate livery. From Sunday 6th November 2016, this vehicle will be allocated to Washington Depot, acting as a dedicated spare vehicle for "Whey Aye Five 0" services 5 and 50, providing fleet standardisation at Washington Depot and a consistent vehicle specification for customers on these services. To replace Volvo B10BLE/Wright Renown 4916 (X916 WGR) which has incurred defects uneconomical to repair, this vehicle has been reinstated at Percy Main Depot.
This vehicle has entered service at Crook Depot, where it will be allocated to service 18, replacing Transbus MPD/Transbus Mini Pointer 571 (NK53 TMV) and 572 (NK53 TMX).
