This vehicle has lost its "Cobalt Connect" branding, having been repainted into a light blue base livery. Upcoming service changes in April 2016 will see "Whey Aye Five 0" service 50 interwork with service 5, which is currently operated by Riverside Depot. Both services will instead operate from Washington Depot and fall under the "Whey Aye Five 0" brand, providing a consistent brand identity for services 5 and 50 on the Boldon - West Harton - South Shields corridor. It is thought that this vehicle will be one of five to join the "Whey Aye Five 0" brand.

With the entry into service of the five new Optare Solo SR minibuses at Hexham Depot, this vehicle has transferred from Hexham Depot to Riverside, where it will see temporary allocation to the Byker ASDA contract in place of Transbus MPD/Transbus Mini Pointer 563 (NK53 TLN).
Following the arrival of loanee Optare Solo SR M925/Optare 9104 (YJ65 ELW) at Riverside Depot, this vehicle has been withdrawn from service at Riverside due to an engine issue.
