Having incurred defects uneconomical to repair, this vehicle has been withdrawn from service at Deptford Depot. It has been replaced in the fleet at Deptford following the entry into service of the former Thames Travel Optare Solo M880/Optare vehicles, fleet numbers 698 and 700.
Ahead of upcoming service changes which will see "Wear Tees Xpress" service X7 revised to operate between Sunderland and Peterlee only (with the link between Peterlee and Station Town being retained by a revised "indiGo" 202 service and the link between Station Town and Middlesbrough being withdrawn completely), this vehicle has been repainted into Go North East's new corporate livery. Since the withdrawal of Oxfordshire County Council subsidies on 20th July 2016, Thames Travel has been operating the Bicester Town bus services 22 and 23 on a commercial basis. It will be replaced by Dennis MPD/Alexander Mini Pointer 605 (NK54 NUA) once defects on this vehicle are repaired at Washington. However; depending on minibus vehicle requirements, this vehicle could be repaired and reinstated.

Having previously carried cherished registration mark K2 VOY, this vehicle has been re-registered as LA55 WWN. The cherished registration mark, K2 VOY, has been sold to a private buyer, in exchange for another cherished registration mark (X21 GNE). This registration mark will be allocated to Scania N94UD/East Lancs OmniDekka 6146 (YN55 NFE), which will act as the dedicated spare vehicle for "The Castles Express" service X21.
