July 2016 Go North East Photograph by Following the last batch delivered in June 2016, Go North East has acquired five further Scania N94UD/East Lancs OmniDekka vehicles from sister Go-Ahead operating company Brighton & Hove, following the entry into service of brand new Wright StreetDeck vehicles on Brighton & Hove's 1 service. This vehicle, previously numbered previously numbered 603 within the Brighton & Hove fleet, has now arrived at Riverside Depot. It will undergo preparation for service within the Go North East fleet at Saltmeadows Road Depot.

This vehicle, previously numbered previously numbered 622 within the Brighton & Hove fleet, has now arrived at Riverside Depot. It will undergo preparation for service within the Go North East fleet at Saltmeadows Road Depot.

July 2016 Go North East Photograph by Having previously carried a plain silver base livery, this vehicle has been repainted into a plain blue base livery. There are a number of changes to Go North East's services in the Gateshead and surrounding areas, from 24th July 2016. "Citylink" service 58 will be revised to operate every 12 minutes between Heworth and Newcastle only. To maintain the link between Newcastle and Hadrian Park, "Citylink" service 57 will be extended from Newcastle to Hadrian Park, on the same route and frequency as the current "Citylink" 58 service.

There are a number of changes to Go North East's services in the North Tyneside and surrounding areas, from 24th July 2016. Pheonix Coaches has been awarded with the contract to operate the entire Whitley Bay Town Network from both Go North East (W1/W1A and W3) and Arriva (59/359 and W2). As a result of losing the contract to operate the W1/W1A and W3 services, the four "Nexus" branded Optare Solo SRs which Go North East currently allocate to this service will be repainted pink. July 2016 Go North East With the completion of modifications to vehicles in Deptford's fleet as part of a group project, this vehicle has been released for cascade to Percy Main Depot. It will continue to be retained in a float/reserve capacity - initially while vehicles in Percy Main's fleet undergo modifications as part of a group project, albeit retained thereafter to cover for fire-damaged Dennis Trident/East Lancs Lolyne 3859 (W859 PNL) which was withdrawn in March.
