And there are no posters up about it on the Scanias (they just have them for day returns) and the B10s just have them for the 9 which don't even have any significant changes. Bit crap really for people who aren't on the internet RE: Go North East: Latest News & Discussion - July 2016 - V514DFT - 21 Jul 2016 (21 Jul 2016, 8:26 pm)Tom wrote They have none on the bus at all, on the blue scanias they just have timetables for the 19! Service changes is quite bad atm, i wonder how many passengers know that GNE won't be running the W sevices in Whitley Bay from this Sunday... Or if they've gained the likes of the 33/33A/168 etc... RE: Go North East: Latest News & Discussion - July 2016 - Crusader - 22 Jul 2016 (22 Jul 2016, 8:14 am)Michael wrote In what?, service changes?, general stuff? I know it's been debated but why does it matter to passengers if GNE aren't running W's or that they are running the 33? The route and timetable hasn't changed so there isn't actually anything to tell passengers? As long as information about the things which are changing is getting out to passengers that's what is important - though it is disappointing if there aren't any posters on buses about the 17 RE: Go North East: Latest News & Discussion - July 2016 - Andreos1 - 22 Jul 2016 (22 Jul 2016, 8:27 am)Crusader wrote I know it's been debated but why does it matter to passengers if GNE aren't running W's or that they are running the 33? The route and timetable hasn't changed so there isn't actually anything to tell passengers? Are GNE tickets being accepted on the W services following the the changes? I would say that was quite an important issue, particularly if a passenger needs to find additional money to complete a journey now. Regardless of how embarrassing it would be to a complainant that 'yes, the website is out of date and shows we are the operator. No, actually we actually aren't the operator' Similarly I would have thought the new services would have been promoted or at least mentioned, so that pass holders are aware they can now use that service with a GNE ticket.
