I really miss these MPDs, If I could afford to do so then I would buy one and preserve it. Nice to see someone doing something a bit different, rather than just a playbus I've seen a few photos of buses being converted into stuff food related although usually it tends to be something that is basically just an extremely large burger van. Think I've seen a few photos of buses converted into restaurants but not usually a Greek restaurant. RE: Go North East: Former Fleet Members Living On - tyresmoke - 26 Jul 2015 Isn't one of the older MPD's a mobile chippy? 504 rings a bell RE: Go North East: Former Fleet Members Living On - Dan - 26 Jul 2015 (26 Jul 2015, 5:04 pm)tyresmoke wrote Isn't one of the older MPD's a mobile chippy? 504 rings a bell 486 - even older than the batch you were thinking of: Scisset by Andrew Stopford, on Flickr RE: Go North East: Former Fleet Members Living On - S813 FVK - 26 Jul 2015 (26 Jul 2015, 5:04 pm)tyresmoke wrote Isn't one of the older MPD's a mobile chippy? 504 rings a bell 504 went down to The Big Lemon, Brighton. A nice and compliant destination there mind... RE: Go North East: Former Fleet Members Living On - MurdnunoC - 22 Aug 2015 I've heard of circular services but never triangular ones - they must do things differently in Sidmouth. It might be Easy Access but is it DDA compliant on the inside or not? Adrian's to quick to beat him at Destination Display spotting RE: Go North East: Former Fleet Members Living On - Dan - 22 Aug 2015 (22 Aug 2015, 4:59 pm)South Tyne Lad wrote It might be Easy Access but is it DDA compliant on the inside or not? Adrian's to quick to beat him at Destination Display spotting I don't think the old X-WGR batch were DDA-compliant. Entirely possible that they've received modifications following their departure from the fleet, though. They've got until January to sort out the destination regardless. RE: Go North East: Former Fleet Members Living On - NK53 TKT - 22 Aug 2015 Does anyone know where the SPDs went? Some saw the scrapyard while some made it into further service. RE: Go North East: Former Fleet Members Living On - NK53 TKT - 22 Aug 2015 I assume the X and 51 reg ones saw further use whilst the S reg ones met the scrapyard then.
