I think for most of the day, the T1 and M1 interwork as when I was up in Morpeth around Christmas time, the morning M1 came in and layed over until around 12pm then went onto the T1 with Solo V470GBF being allocated.

Think at least one of the T1 journeys interworks with the S1 on a afternoon as the T1 and M1 both have departures from Morpeth Bus Station at 15:00 (M1 departs at 14:45 on Wednesday's rather than 15:00), so I would assume the bus that does the 15:00 T1 from Morpeth Bus Station would be the bus that does the S1 through the day while the M1 gets the bus that does all the other T1 and M1 runs during the day (usually Solo V470GBF - now registered M14PCL)

PCL Travel - Jimmi - 16 Feb 2017

Was rather surprised to see MH06WCU on the 15 today.

As mentioned last week, W363 ABD is now with PCL Travel.

That looks in a right state - they don't seem to care about the presentation of their buses at all.

I don't want to sound certain but am I right on thinking that this is a replacement for there accident damaged Plaxton Primo

RE: PCL Travel - Pulsar - 24 Feb 2017

Seems its becoming a regular thing now....

MH06WCU on the 15 again today.

RE: PCL Travel - Tom - 01 Mar 2017

I saw it from a distance, but I'm pretty sure the MPD has been painted into Rural Link livery and was on the 808 tonight, couldn't think of much else it would be.

RE: PCL Travel - Cobalt271 - 02 Mar 2017

Has anything happened to the Darts? MH06WCU seems to be the permenant allocation for the 15 now for some bizarre reason.

RE: PCL Travel - jaimz13 - 02 Mar 2017

Not sure if everyone knows but the primo has been scrapped

Was a Dart in Morpeth Bus Station this afternoon on S1/T1.

Was a Dart in Morpeth Bus Station this afternoon on S1/T1.

I thought the rear looked like it was painted white! Looks better than it did especially as it has a blind now.

RE: PCL Travel - omnicity4659 - 23 Mar 2017

The Solo has been used on the S1/T1 over the last week. Rear blind stuck on "NIS" and top quality destis... "Whitehouse S1" and "Farm S1" alternating.

RE: PCL Travel - thetravelman - 28 Mar 2017

Noticed, this morning while driving to work - LDV Convoy MH06WCU, sat at Glendinning of Prudhoe. Presumably either there for repair/service or has broken down and recovered back to there by Glendinning.

It has been running for a while now - not sure why it is listed as a new service.

Edit - it's now going to have T1A, T1B and T1C.

Passing through Thropton earlier, I noticed a Rural Link branded MPD parked in a layby.

I'm assuming it broke down and is awaiting recovery in the morning, opposed to being left there prior to starting its shift tomorrow...

They park the 15/16 bus locally somewhere, but not sure where so could have been that.

One of the drivers lives just outside Alnwick so it's usually not far from the town in one of the lay-bys.

You're correct, he parks the MPD there next to his house to save fuel costs

This was beyond Thropton, past the pub. Obviously a few miles from Alnwick.

Pcl have 06 reg solo

Yeah KX06LYJ it is, https://www.flickr.com/photos/144694252@N07/34030650886/

You would think they would put this on the 15/16 and have one of the dodgy darts on the Morpeth town services (unless they are too big) - at least they are buying a newer buses though, and expanding their routes a bit. Still a bit skeptical on whether to try their services out though...

Well yeah would make more sense to put it on 15/16 but at least no with some of the Hexham routes their be less chance of a van turning up its good that they starting to pick them self's back up

613 and 882 are normally allocated vans, presumably as the passenger numbers don't need anything bigger and they are contracted for a 16 seater bus as is the 808 which I think interworks with those routes. 885 is normally a Dart though as it needs a bigger bus than a van.

Could do solo on 15/16 and use other solo on S1/M1 and dart on T1 use other dart on the 808

Not sure how the Morpeth services interwork with each other since the timetable changes but I think it's still two buses used on the M1, S1 and T1's. Not sure what's being used on the 15/16 atm but I think it's back to bus operation again last photo I saw of the 15 was the S1 branded Dart. Not much point of allocating a Dart to the 808 especially as most days it does other services between the 808 which doesn't need a big bus either.

882 is the MPD normally, runs on to the 808 I think.

When I saw the 808 the other Saturday it was the LDV Convoy and I think the two services interwork or they certainly used to.
