Aye, probably! Heard it's not the best.

Everytime I've seen The Cribs play at Newcastle there's been people chanting "WAKEFIELD, WAKEFIELD, WAKEFIELD"

You can book up to 15 mins in Advance iirc.

Split ticketing is the way forward Jimmi.
Told Fozz about it the other week.

£52.10 is the cheapest I have found on CrossCountry. (£34.10 on an off peak return)
£34.10 standard class flexi if you look on Raileasy.

One of the early ones (7.13 or 8.13) south could be a HST working.
I can never remember which one it is.

Good luck if you haven't!

Been a few times on business and then a mate had the idea of going there on a stag do a few years back.
It was interesting.

Big issue is the person I'm going with usually just turns up and pays on the day and just goes with the flow and as a result I have zero clue what time the return will be so it'll just be a case of return to the station and get a ticket. Don't even know which station we're getting off at.

So you're gonna have to get it tomorrow then?

Is there a reason why you just went up and down Chester-le-Street for most of the day?

It's not against the law, you're right.

However, I don't see how doing the same set of repetitive journeys across across a relatively small area can alleviate anyones sense of boredom.

Am I missing something here?

Well different strokes for different folks. What one person finds interesting another may not. As a group we shouldn't be too quick to judge; most people would see bus enthusiasm in general as perculiar!

I think it might have been safe to assume insufficient funds for an explorer, that day, too.

I don't find biglugs' journeys all that scintillating but, as already mentioned, I'm sure we all do things that wouldn't interest other people.

It is your decision to decide what to read.

I sometimes find bus journeys a unique place to think, can wander off more than at home. I've often stayed on past my stop just to continue my train of thought!

When I lived in Manchester I could easily waste an hour or so going up and down Oxford Road on Magic Bus just having a ponder.

Not when I've got someone reading with me Wink

Don't take it as an attack from me, anyhow. You might have noticed my emphasis on us all having our own reasons for doing what we do. Those reasons may be financial, personal or whatever.

If I miss my stop, I've got a steep uphill walk Big Grin

I sometimes take work out to do on the bus, or a list of people I need to email, but usually, I just piddle about on t'Internet. Occasionally, I'm forced by being around Wynyard in the middle of nowhere to do something radical, like look out of the window.
