RE: Anything and Everything v2 - Rapidsnap - 11 Jun 2018 I think that just about sums it up to be fair, there's too many cliches, and I'm not going to deny this I was part of one until I fell out with most of them over this group we had formed, in fact I was kicked out of said group whilst I was having a break from facebook at the time last year. I've got to a point now where I'm not going to chase people around begging to be my friend again as simply I've just stopped caring. I think that in all walks of life, people become emboldened by the echo chamber that is social media and can say things that they wouldn't have the nerve to say face to face. Some people are just dicks in any medium. Sorry to hear about the diagnosis. Wishing you well. Many thanks, BLM. I agree with everything you say. I'm getting there. Long road to go, but you've got to make sacrifices if you want results. I hope you and the rest of your clan are doing fine. ![]() RE: Anything and Everything v2 - BusLoverMum - 13 Jun 2018 (12 Jun 2018, 8:08 pm)R852 PRG wrote Many thanks, BLM. Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk RE: Anything and Everything v2 - Rapidsnap - 26 Jun 2018 So had my doctors appointment today and I've been diagnosed with Anxiety and Depression, which is no suprise especially after the bad anxiety attack I had on Sunday. Anyway as from tomorrow I'm on Setraline tablets which apparently mean I'm going to get worse before I get better..... fun. Withdrawal is light headed and its not nice! RE: Fleet News - idiot - 10 Feb 2020 Im a bit useless so got a random question here. How many buses do go north east, stagecoach ne and arriva ne have? Wanting it for a quiz tie breaker question ![]() RE: Fleet News - Ianthegoon - 11 Feb 2020 idiot wroteIm a bit useless so got a random question here. The current fleet lists on this very site show: Go North East 722 Stagecoach North East 511 Arriva North East 543 However, the lists are in the process of being updated (Arriva in particular is well out of date!) so the numbers may very well change before your tiebreaker question is asked ….. RE: Anything and Everything v2 - idiot - 11 Feb 2020 Thanks Ian RE: Anything and Everything v2 - Andreos1 - 12 Apr 2025 Is it just me, or does the likes of Bustimes or real-time trains take the excitement and anticipation of which vehicle is coming around the corner or on to the platform? Back in the day, I would wait and wonder if anything odd or unusual was going to rock up (if it did rock up). Nowadays, well a quick glance to see if your service is running on time and the anticipation is spoilt. RE: Anything and Everything v2 - BusLoverMum - 12 Apr 2025 I don’t know. There is still a slight sense of anticipation involved in wondering whether the 21 currently at Dryburn hospital will make it all the way to New College without conking out. Probably, but there's nowhere near the variety that has been enjoyed in years gone by, on my local Arriva routes at least, I know the bus that is likely to turn up will be a: Pulsar, StreetLite or E400 with the latter not being used on evenings and Sundays, so it's basically a question of which exact example turns up (some evening 7's from Darlington come light from Faverdale depot, so no tracking for me to see what's coming). On the plus side, knowing what's coming can come in handy in knowing where to find certain things, or give time to change course when possible if you want to avoid something - downside is knowing you're getting a heap before it even appears (I've put off trips out before because I've checked before heading out and seen the bus coming is one I try to avoid). Closest I get to a day of surprises now is when Rail Replacements are on as there's no tracking or anything, can be nice when you get a load of stuff you'd want appear without advance knowledge, although I wish I did know what's coming at times when you've had about an hour of stuff that doesn't appeal (went to Huddersfield for RR spotting once and it was a load of Sprinter/Transit minibuses, certainly wished I hadn't bothered on that occasion). RE: Anything and Everything v2 - Unber43 - 13 Apr 2025 I remeber with GNE you never knew what you were going to get on the 42 in sunderalnd, it could be a dual doored vyking, or a Yellow Bus or a Pink Angel, Loyne any random type of SPD with different interiors, plus a hire MAN for some time, or an old Drifter both Versa and the Cadet, you literally could get anything or the Canteno or there was a bus which was the only one in the fleet cannot remmeber what it was called but it was a real mixup. Now its a Solo or a Streetlite literally nothing else RE: Anything and Everything v2 - BusLoverMum - 15 Apr 2025 As polished as ever. |
