RE: Stagecoach North East Latest News - Glen1974 - 21 Oct 2025 Sorry mate RE: Stagecoach North East Latest News - ReDemPTiion - 21 Oct 2025 Slatyford’s 73178 has gone to Gardiners for repairs. Didn’t last long did it. RE: Stagecoach North East Latest News - F114TML - 21 Oct 2025 (21 Oct 2025, 6:49 am)ReDemPTiion wrote Slatyford’s 73178 has gone to Gardiners for repairs. Almost certainly accident repairs… RE: Stagecoach North East Latest News - ReDemPTiion - 21 Oct 2025 (21 Oct 2025, 7:02 am)F114TML wrote Breakdown or accident? Accident , apparently there’s a hole in the body work. I’m thinking tail swing against street furniture. (21 Oct 2025, 5:02 pm)stagecoachfan wrote Maybe they could replace it with 73190! We can barely charge the 6 we’re using now mate. Plus these Yutongs were not a good idea. They’ll struggle to do a full day even when we have proper chargers installed. I had 73179 today went out 7:04 back in about 18:50 had 74 miles range left, they won’t do a full shift no chance. RE: Stagecoach North East Latest News - ReDemPTiion - 21 Oct 2025 (21 Oct 2025, 9:23 pm)stagecoachbusdepot wrote Sunderland's and Teesside's seem to manage ok? Yeah I don’t understand either mate, my guess is too many hills on the route that were having to accelerate quite hard up. Saturday 73177 had about 20% charge left on it when it was out 9:20 until 18:45 but Im not sure if the buses are going out with a full charge as we’re only able to charge 2 at a time as they blew a fuse in the depot trying to charge 6 at once. All the Yutongs were kept off the road on Sunday to allow them to be charged fully. Are the 30/31/36 even that hilly? I guess there's a couple of short stretches - Rye Hill and maybe Denton Road but other than that? Westmorland road from St James Boulevard up to the college, then Rye Hill straight after that. Then there’s places that are slight incline that you definitely have to press the accelerator a bit more than usual. Whickham view, St Thomas Street, Netherby Drive. Yeah but even with 73178 off the road the 6 we currently have out are struggling to get charged. Not sure if 73190 is just going to sit around until the chargers are in or what. 73176 is permanently at slatyford now too so we should have 19 eventually hopefully it’s not too long before we get the proper chargers in. Shortly after the yutongs arrived I heard Sunderland drivers sayung they coukdnt nanage a full day on the E1/2/6 and had to keep being run off at different times of the day Sent from my SM-S918B using Tapatalk RE: Stagecoach North East Latest News - ReDemPTiion - 22 Oct 2025 (21 Oct 2025, 11:10 pm)stagecoachfan wrote I meant use 190 to replace the one that's off. Stagecoach teesside East Cleveland there's hills there and there Yutong do a brilliant job (14 Oct 2025, 7:42 pm)Glen1974 wrote I think one of yutongs should get painted blue because not of stockton buses are blue yet? Won't happen for a long while RE: Stagecoach North East Latest News - Glen1974 - 22 Oct 2025 I saw photo of stockton new yutong U11dd double decker for us it not for of done it may be here next week i think? I’m thinking tail swing against street furniture. They’ll manage just fine once they’re charged properly, we have boards go out at 0600 and get back at 2300, Sundays they do all day from 0730-0015, we have a board do 0416-2025 and they all come back with over 20% even with heaters or AC on all day. The problem with the temp chargers is that they are painfully slow to charge! We used to take them off at 70% just to be able to have a somewhat near decent charge on them! But that then meant a changeover later on in the day! Cabs have very little space, dispenser is practically behind you on the stupid little latch they’ve got for them no actual holder for them like on the 262**’s for example. No bin in the cab, just a felt lined holder for defect card, no where to put the running board that you can see it. The bell sound does my head in especially when people keep pressing it, the beeping doors do my head in and the indicator beeping too. The only good things are the camera mirrors they’re better than normal mirrors and the fact it’s instant heat not having to wait for it to warm up, haha. Edit, I’ve added a photo of what I mean with the dispenser latch, it’s awful. RE: Stagecoach North East Latest News - Glen1974 - 27 Oct 2025 I don't mean to be a pain when is new yutong U11dd double decker. Due for stockton is it soon. How about you go down to Stockton depot and ask the people in reception? They might be able to give you an answer. Us on here have no clue like every other time you’ve asked…… RE: Stagecoach North East Latest News - V514DFT - 27 Oct 2025 (27 Oct 2025, 6:15 am)ReDemPTiion wrote How about you go down to Stockton depot and ask the people in reception? The clips clip perfect on the window which is a far better place for moving - we’ve all been given clips for running boards to clip on the window surround as well! (27 Oct 2025, 5:50 pm)stagecoachfan wrote Does anyone know why Sunderland's 73060 (the one in the special livery) is currently sat charging up in the yard at Stockton? Yes - major issues at Wheatsheaf following an incident Sunday night - currently not able to gas, fuel or power any buses up. We’ve had yutongs in and out all day for charge! Apparently there’s a plan for gas as well RE: Stagecoach North East Latest News - ReDemPTiion - 27 Oct 2025 (27 Oct 2025, 6:33 pm)Teessider2014 wrote Yes - major issues at Wheatsheaf following an incident Sunday night - currently not able to gas, fuel or power any buses up. We’ve had yutongs in and out all day for charge! What kind of incident has caused them not to be able to charge, fuel or gas any buses at all? Bet they wish Slatyford had their chargers done be easier to go to them than Stockton! But wouldn’t it not waste charge driving back up when it’s finished charging RE: Stagecoach North East Latest News - Theboyle92 - 27 Oct 2025 (27 Oct 2025, 7:23 pm)ReDemPTiion wrote What kind of incident has caused them not to be able to charge, fuel or gas any buses at all? But wouldn’t it not waste charge driving back up when it’s finished charging Believe one of the chargers set alight and knocked the electricity out that runs the diesel pumps and the gas pumps, portable chargers en route apparently but for a service of some shape or form to run tomorrow they have sent some yutongs down to stockton for charge. Oh that's not good, hopefully there's a full service tomorrow. RE: Stagecoach North East Latest News - V514DFT - 27 Oct 2025 In regards to Slatyford, would it not have been easier to do Walkergate instead and transfer the running of some routes like the 12 and 22 to Slatyford allowing space for Walkergate to run the 30/31/36 RE: Stagecoach North East Latest News - Economic505 - 27 Oct 2025 I saw 73074 on the A19 after 17.00 going back to Sunderland. I wondered why until I read the latest SNE news. Bloody hell, wonder how long until they can get that sorted. Doesn’t bode well for Slatyford their chargers are still going to be indoors just minus a roof, imagine if one of those set alight inside the depot! They could have easily transferred the 12 it’s pretty much a single deck route now and some 62/63 boards which im sure would add up to 30/31/36 PVR. RE: Stagecoach North East Latest News - Glen1974 - 28 Oct 2025 I am sorry if upset anyone got on about going new yutong U11dd double decker i am sorry mates |
