The 63 plates are going for scrap and not down to Reading, only the 14 plate ones are to head south Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk RE: Stagecoach North East Latest News - Michael - 04 Nov 2025 (04 Nov 2025, 9:57 am)Theboyle92 wrote The 63 plates are going for scrap and not down to Reading, only the 14 plate ones are to head south Shame they're going to scrap but no doubt, Stagecoach will strip them of panels etc. RE: Stagecoach North East Latest News - stagecoachfan - 05 Nov 2025 73190 now parked outside and it's gained a poppy sticker. It's at Slatyford (05 Nov 2025, 5:22 pm)F114TML wrote Yeah all ghe buses are getting them. It does suggest they're planning on using it soon though, otherwise why put a poppy on that one, only to peel it off again before it's used. Especially when I saw quite a few in service buses that don't have them yet. Would be good to get it out in service but they did put a poppy on a broken bus on the back yard last year so I wouldn’t read much into it haha RE: Stagecoach North East Latest News - F114TML - 05 Nov 2025 (05 Nov 2025, 7:42 pm)stagecoachfan wrote It's at Slatyford We're talking about a company that repainted an ALX300 (forget which) into Local, and then withdrew it before it had even seen a day in service. I'm half surprised they haven't repainted one of the gasbuses into navy. I want to say it was one of the 06 reg lot RE: Stagecoach North East Latest News - Glen1974 - 05 Nov 2025 I saw a photo on someone's Facebook page that stockton depot new yutong U11dd double decker is now at stockton depot now that all am saying. RE: Stagecoach North East Latest News - col87 - 05 Nov 2025 (04 Nov 2025, 9:21 am)i Theboyle92 wrote Unknown if they will be new i would like to assume so , but completely agree they are at the end now and are rough with most “kangarooing” when pulling away its a shame as they are fantastic to drive but the future is slowly here, just hope the E12s can cope with the capacity especially if the metros go down and manage to keep to timings with being limited to 50mph compared to the gas buses 56/58mphI think can confidently say the answer to will they cope with capacity will be no they won’t. They have the same capacity as the gas buses 70 pax 36 seating 34 standing but i know in the run up to Christmas capacity is an issue however sunderlands deckers are not the most reliable especially on the x24 but mon-fri after the peak passengers numbers have dropped significantly Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk RE: Stagecoach North East Latest News - bob22222 - 06 Nov 2025 (05 Nov 2025, 8:19 pm)F114TML wrote We're talking about a company that repainted an ALX300 (forget which) into Local, and then withdrew it before it had even seen a day in service. RE: Stagecoach North East Latest News - morritt89 - 06 Nov 2025 Noticed on Facebook that Garnetts have an ALX400 open topper in Stagecoach livery. Is this one of the North East ones and if so, have they all been sold on/scrapped? They're just run of the mill urban / city services that do what they say on the tin - will likely have the odd problem here and there given the nature of their routes, but pretty much come they're as they are. Last 10/11 back is fairly late enough after 11.20pm or 11.25pm depending on where in Town. Cost of a taxi also quite reasonable if facing the right way out of Town too! RE: Stagecoach North East Latest News - ReDemPTiion - 06 Nov 2025 Apparently this is at Slatyford, no idea what model of bus it is or what. Anyone have any ideas? Either that or they're rebranding to Boragamorch RE: Stagecoach North East Latest News - Ianthegoon - 07 Nov 2025 (06 Nov 2025, 11:58 pm)stagecoachfan wrote Either that or they're rebranding to Boragamorch I googled that name, and (unsurprisingly!) got nothing. However, the dreaded AI overview invited me to "provide more context about where I saw the term", and I was SOOOO tempted to respond "You should know; you put it on the side of a bus!" RE: Stagecoach North East Latest News - Michael - 07 Nov 2025 27177 is on the 16 today... sounds broke, making a right noise. Edit: took off and replaced by 73188. It won't be out until all drivers are fermilwised with it and all RE: Stagecoach North East Latest News - Glen1974 - 07 Nov 2025 Ok mate RE: Stagecoach North East Latest News - V514DFT - 07 Nov 2025 Anyone else think the new electrics at Slatyford are gonna struggle?, saw one the other day on the 30/31, it was packed, not even standing room, they're gonna really struggle on matchdays RE: Stagecoach North East Latest News - ReDemPTiion - 08 Nov 2025 37317 is at Slatyford from South Shields. Anyone know if that’s permanent? Way too many E200’s at Slatyford now 36468-36477 37301 37312-37319 Total of 19. I’d like to think if we’ve got loads of the newer 37***’s the older 364**’s should leave then. |
