General TV thread - MrFozz - 19 Jan 2015 Anyone see this on the news...Some mush getting knocked down outside St Pancras, live on the news earlier RE: General TV thread - Michael - 21 Jan 2015 My favorite advert of all time... just shows how much Britain has changed over the years, Part of Winston Churchill's speech played through from WW2 to the spitfires flying over. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S4tFzuFGUOI RE: General TV thread - Andreos1 - 23 Jan 2015 Great British Railway Journeys will be on Tyneside tonight, as part of the new series. Portillo uses his Bradshaws guide as usual and ends up operating the Swing Bridge. Wonder if we see any Supergran re-enactments? http://youtu.be/5dR2x3WnBKQ RE: General TV thread - MurdnunoC - 23 Jan 2015 (23 Jan 2015, 1:06 pm)Andreos1 wrote Great British Railway Journeys will be on Tyneside tonight, as part of the new series. Very appropriate viewings for a nine year old lol A favourite show for most of my friends at school. Won't be the same without the Garveys, and I don't like that Sheepf***er from Wales they've got in to replace Kenny Ireland - Donald and Jacqueline were close personal friends of mine. RE: General TV thread - omnicity4659 - 23 Jan 2015 MarcTheA4 - aye, only started watching it when my mam couldn't be bothered to go to bed, think it was the time where Mr Buck A Roo sent a letter to that old tanned woman then me and my brother have been watching it ever since. Our school was fortunate enough to purchase one BBC computer to share amongst the entire school. The excitement generated when the school managed to get hold of the Geordie Racer computer game, was tremendous... When I moved to Chorister School, they had the Acorn Archimedes computers, they succeeded the BBC Computer and I spent many a hour playing Man Utd in Europe ... By the time I was back in Comprehensive, they got there first PC's and Internet in 1997, where I spent god knows how many hours learning to play Champ Manager 97/98 RE: General TV thread - Andreos1 - 23 Jan 2015 (23 Jan 2015, 10:39 pm)MrFozz wrote BBC Computers, theres a memory, my primary school had one as well, played Geordie Racer a couple of times and another game where the aim was to get up Mount Everest in one piece...
