I would personally go up to Summerhill Visitor Centre as well since they is no service there but I can’t really see how else you can do the route otherwise if it it’s going to serve the 6th form college as well which if it don’t have a service from Elwick or Dalton anytime between 8:00 and 8:45 just makes it pointless.

Surely it'll just be the 65, more frequent, but with a possible extension once a day to the sixth form college?
