Hartlepool really could do with more deckers and full size buses. As for the remaining withdrawn buses at Hartlepool hopefully somebody will save them as be a shame if they were lost. Yes that and for the busy service 1 which is often full leaving Middlesbrough. Why does Hartlepool never get anything good for long. Disgraceful that it’s been moved from Hartlepool. As an original Sunderland enthusiast, now living in Hartlepool, it’s a crazy decision. No one can defend the moving of one frigging bus. RE: Stagecoach North East Latest News - F114TML - 30 Jan 2026 Enjoying that yous have all decided these are permanent moves and don't seem to have thought these might be temporary because Sunderland seem to have a relatively high VOR (19641 has been VOR since before Christmas, 444 has been VOR for a week, a few 2700s have been off for a while, and we've lost at least two EVs). Cheers for explanation. Hopefully Hartlepool will have a decker again soon. I didn’t get a chance to ride on . Apparently it is permanent some of the drivers have been told it is. RE: Stagecoach North East Latest News - ReDemPTiion - 30 Jan 2026 Has anyone heard anything about the EV’s for the 32/32A? If it’s true I’m thinking Yutong E10’s as they’re pretty much the same size as the current E200’s that are used on them now. RE: Stagecoach North East Latest News - Glen1974 - 31 Jan 2026 EV400 what at stockton is it still on loan at stockton or is it stockton now? RE: Stagecoach North East Latest News - Glen1974 - 31 Jan 2026 Doses anyone know want on stagecoach orders for this year? RE: Stagecoach North East Latest News - ReDemPTiion - 31 Jan 2026 (31 Jan 2026, 8:35 pm)Glen1974 wrote Doses anyone know want on stagecoach orders for this year? I bought the 2026 stagecoach bus handbook. There’s nothing for the north east on order. Closest is Hull which have 16 Yutong E12’s on order and 20 Yutong U11D’s on order. The book could have been published before anything came up about EV’s on the 32/32A at Slatyford but nothing else on the order sheet for the north east. RE: Stagecoach North East Latest News - Glen1974 - 31 Jan 2026 Ok mate RE: Stagecoach North East Latest News - Economic505 - 31 Jan 2026 Was in Sunderland today using the E services. Their timings were dreadful. Must be roadworks, or daft traffic lights. Last year, the 18 would have filled on the gaps . Long gone sadly. Some of Hull's E12s seem to be already around and have been in service, but not at Hull. 73231 and 73240 have been tracking at Scunthorpe and Mansfield respectively. RE: Stagecoach North East Latest News - Glen1974 - 01 Feb 2026 When well stockton depot start to get pull-down now it got the go ahead? RE: Stagecoach North East Latest News - ReDemPTiion - 01 Feb 2026 37313 has been off the road since 1st December having had problems for months maybe even years where it’s had no power and very slow. It’s been parked up with withdrawn MAN E300’s 24110 and 24103 and had had its ticket machine removed and a panel removed from the rear. I wonder if this could be withdrawn. They'll be using it for spares while it awaits work (presumably a new engine). Sunderland did the same with 36973 (I think) which at one point barely had a cab! Sunderland did the same with 36973 (I think) which at one point barely had a cab! There’s a lot of them E200’s now that are down on power and constantly high revving to get the speed up. This one was like that for well over a year. I’ve always thought it can’t be healthy for the engine! If they maintained the buses correctly they wouldn’t need to get a new engine for it RE: Stagecoach North East Latest News - Michael - 01 Feb 2026 28015 broke down on the 16 tonight... wonder if thats the last time, we'll see it in service. Yep found a video on Facebook of it being ready to be towed by ALPHA RE: Stagecoach North East Latest News - F114TML - 02 Feb 2026 Must've been an easy fix whatever it was, Bustimes rekons it's out on the 3s EDIT: Can confirm, passed it about 20 mins ago RE: Stagecoach North East Latest News - Michael - 02 Feb 2026 (02 Feb 2026, 8:07 am)F114TML wrote Must've been an easy fix whatever it was, Bustimes rekons it's out kn the 3s They've gave it the kiss of life. RE: Stagecoach North East Latest News - ReDemPTiion - 03 Feb 2026 From what I’ve just read Stagecoach have lost the 18 to Northstar the 32/32A to Gateshead Central and the 737 to Go North East and got nothing in return. Not looking good. I’m also not sure how accurate it is when there’s been talks of electric buses on the 32/32A |
